A:  Yes, this hubcap fits schedule 40 PVC. I just use this to cap off a drain coming off of my 6in standpipe.

A:  No, I bought these based on the responses here that they were flat on the end. The ones they sent me were the standard, rounded PVC end cap. The person at the customer service desk informed me that ALL caps are rounded. So I returned them. I don't know how to purchase what is pictured here.

I am a soap maker, not a plumber, and I want to use a short length of 3-inch PVC pipe as a soap mold but need to cap it off. I found the dimensions on this listing confusing, so I called NIBCO itself. Forgive me if I have misunderstood you.
