              A:  Thank you for your inquiry on the NIBCO 2 in. PVC DWV Hub Cap. DWV fittings do not really hold a pressure rating as they are designed for drain, waste or vent (non-pressurized service). We believe the design pressure rating of DWV PVC is 1 BAR or 14.5 psi at sea level. If you are in need of fittings that are pressure rated, you should be look more towards Sch 40 or Sch 80 fittings, depending on what ratings you need for your application.                 Q:What is the inside diameter and the inside diameter? I'm not sure which on is 3" but I need both and they aren't listed in the specs.

                A:  The outside diameter is 3.98 in. and the inside diameter the size is 3.5 in for this cap. It is for use with 3 inch pipes.
