Q:I run a tool blog, tooltestblog.com. and I wanna get this saw for myself and add it to my tools, as my dewalt is a acting up, will a 3 1/2 foot bench work for this saw with this type of sliding mechanism.

    Q:Two others have asked the same question. Please answer how much weight this thing can handle. There should be no need to call a number. It should be part of the specs. Other brands advertise it. Why not Bosch?

        Q:Does anybody have problems with the platform not flat? Just bought one and the right platform was not flat. It dropped down 0.63mm. I went to the store and brought two more saws home and all are the same. Middle platform is flat but the two sides are off.

          Q:What is the footprint of this saw? I am building a miter saw table for it, so I need to know the dimensions to be certain it will be a good fit.

          A:  One very important measurement you need to know is the base height for your miter table to match. This is what I struggle to find online. I did find 3 and 3/4" from the bottom to the saw to the flat seat of the saw. Problem for my 3 and 5/8" table.
