A:  You are probably not accounting for the thickness of the tile and backer board/sheet-rock installed over the wall stud framing. I seriously doubt your tub measures less than the standard 60"... that is the rough opening dimension between the wall studs.

A:  Hi Garrett! We do not recommend drilling into this unit. Drilling can crack the porcelain, and it will void the warranty.
