A: garnet may be too hard for aluminum. It will remove the paint but may do damage to the aluminum if your sand blaster has too much pressure. I would recommend professional soda or dry ice blasting.

A: No, while you might be able to pull this in through your detergent/cleaner intake hose line, possibly, it would destroy your pump internals. This for sandblasters, not pressure washers.

A: If clearances are important then you are better off with glass beads. This works great for iron and aluminum housings but it is too abrasive where tolerances are important
