Q:Does the T420.501.295 shower head pivot/swivel to adjust angle?  If not is there an adapter fitting to make it swivel? Will any of the R120 control valves work (i.e. R125SS, etc)

      Q:How do you adjust the shower head and keep it at that setting indefinitely ??? I adjust it and then finish showering and when I go to take another shower it is at the other setting ....

      A:  There is no way to keep it at a different setting once the water pressure decreases it will revert to the standard setting.

        A:  The cartridge and pressure balancing valve that you have is for the old Hampton model and is not compatible to any of our current trim.

          Q:i have a 28 year old american standard shower tub. my plumber says i need something that will work with a r120 valve. am wondering if the portsmouth will work with what i have.  also i need the backplate will work. need to know screw placement back platte

            Q:I have a Williamsburg 1041.224 tub/shower unit (anti-scald valve) has a valve that is compatible with this Portsmouth Trim kit? If not, what trim kits would work with the Williamsburg unit that I have?

                  A:  This trim will only work with the following trims, R120, R120SS, R121, R121SS, R125, R125SS, R127, R127SS, R128, R128SS, R129, R129SS. Rough in valves are not marked with model numbers, you would need to know the model number of your faucet trim to locate the information on the rough in valve.

                    Q:I am trying to change out a AmStandard T675501.002 (2shower only) in nickel to a compatible AmStan in Bronze. Please give me suggestion that will swap out. I was told to look for one without a "pressure balancing cartridge"?????? Any R 120 will fit???

                    A:  You have an R120 valve in your wall if you using the T675501 right now. You can use any trim you like as long as it works with the R120. There will actually be a pressure balancing unit.

                      Q:I installed an American Standard Portsmouth in wall pressure balancing shower trim kit and I'm about a 1/4" too deep into the wall with the manifold/ cartridge. Do you make an extension to get me out far enough so the handle goes on properly?

                      A:  There is an extension for this unit. It is a M961818-YYYOA. The y's need filled in with the color of the faucet. It will add an extra 3/4".
