A:  Sorry you're having problems with your Air Innovations humidifier. If your humidifier is leaking, you should contact Air Innovations Customer Care at www.air-innovations.com for a replacement - use the chat function for the quickest response.

A:  If it is leaking and subsequently is broken, you should stop adding water. Sorry, Not much more to be able to assist since we cannot see it and you state it is leaking.

A:  Thanks for your question. Using the maximum mist output setting, the maximum output is 270 – 330 mL/hour.

A:  Well, yes and no. There is a top section and a bottom section (with the indicator). You remove the top and fill from the bottom of that section.

A:  No, you fill from the bottom and then place the ceramic bead filter to close it securely.

A:  I am experiencing the same issue using City of Milwaukee water. I believe the only way to eliminate the mineral dust is to fill the unit with distilled or filtered water. We've been running ours enough each day to keep the humidity up around 30%. Hopefully the outside temperature warms a bit and we can reduce the run time.

A:  I would use distilled water in it in your case

A:  Gurgles very little, only when the water refills the reservoir in the base. Very quiet and soothing.

For best results, we do recommend running our humidifiers in an enclosed room to prevent the humidity from escaping. It will not harm the unit to run it in a hallway, just keep in mind the humidity is escaping and you may not feel the full benefits of the unit. Also, please ensure that the humidifier is not sitting directly on carpet and please do not place a towel under the humidifier. There is a built in sensor in the bottom of the base and if the unit is sitting directly on carpet or on top of a towel it will obstruct the sensor. Also, please make sure when running the humidifier the door is closed and that the unit is not sitting near any window, air/heat vent or near a fan. If the humidifier is running in an open area the sensor is unable to read the humidity accurately because the humidity is escaping. We value you as our customer and appreciate your business.
