Q:What gauge metal is the main body of the holder made of? Our old TP holder is .035" or about 20 gauge, and want to make sure a new one would be about the same.

Q:What are the screws for? What do you screw it into if it's installed between studs? Do you have to install a piece of wood between the studs for it to screw into?

A: The screws are drilled into the front of the Recessed toilet paper which would pull the back plate to the drywall to secure in place. No studs are needed to install. A: To prep for installation of the ARISTA Recessed Toilet Paper Holder. Position the Toilet Paper Holder at a desired placement on the wall. The dimensions of the wall cut out should be a of minimum 5 1/8" x 5 1/8" and maximum of 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" for easy installation.

A: I have never seen a recessed holder without at least one mounting screw. The only other explanation could be is if it is on a spring tension. Try pulling it out. If you resort to cutting it out it will cause extreme additional work as your hole will now be larger than the replacement holder.

A: All our ARISTA recessed TP holders come with 2 mounting screws that are located behind the roll. You will need to remove your roll with roller to unscrew for removal from wall.

A: Hi, the depth to the wall is about half an inch. About 2 1/2 to the roller. It doesn't hold mega rolls but it looks beautiful. I took a picture, hopefully that helps you out.
