A:  I guess you could, but I don't think it would serve much purpose.

A:  There is a "12 in. Masking Film and Paper Cutoff Blade" by 3M and they state in the description "Designed to cut masking film, plastic, or paper". Someone had responded to you that there were two different blades at $16 each. Possibly there were two different ones at one time or the size of them matters. A:  Unfortunately this is produced to be used as a right-handed tool. While you may still be able to use it the design is not for lefties. Thanks for asking!

You can hold it just fine with either hand, but since the tape comes off one side only, taping the outside of a door frame for example, you have to start on the bottom left, up and over the top and down the right. One side will be easier for a left-hander and the other easier for a right-hander.

A:  No. For example that makes it difficult for a right-hander to tape the ceiling, but easy to tape the wall where it meets the ceiling. If they sold a left-handed one, I'd buy it also.

A:  No, they no longer include the ladder hook; ridiculous considering the hook is its most valuable feature. Customer Service, however, is most responsive in sending them. We just have the added aggravation of burning time getting to them.
