Q:what is the different: extended contral and non-extended contral?
by|Apr 28, 2024
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  Both BioAdvanced Brush Killer Plus and Extended Control Brush Killer are great options for listed weeds and brush. The non-active ingredients in the Extended Control formulation increase speed and spectrum of the products’ effectiveness. -Madison

    Q:Will it kill wild honeysuckle?
    by|Apr 23, 2024
    1 Answer
    Answer This Question

A:  Yes, BioAdvanced Brush Killer Plus is a great option for control of honeysuckle. For best results, I would recommend getting the concentrate, cutting the honeysuckle back and painting it onto the freshly cut portion without diluting with water. -Madison

        Does not work !
Used twice on same area on some ground cover plants with broad leaves . I spayed the area heavily in two different days , 2 days apart. 1 gallon is almost all gone. Both days were in August Los Angeles afternoon 90 degree weather . It has been 5-6 days since I last sprayed on these unwanted plants. I wonder if this “brush Killer” is actually a disguise for Miracle Grow fertilizer? All kidding aside . This is product is a huge disappointment. Change name to “Brush Vitamin.”

Be patient and apply a second time, if needed!
It says to spray a good amount and then wait at least 24 hours. I did a second application after a few days and that did it! It worked great and only really killed the main thing I was after (poison ivy) and then later worked on some other random weeds I went after. Very happy with this - the sprayer can just get a bit tiring to squeeze after a while.

Did not kill any weeds or brush
I bought this to kill weeds, ivy and brush in rear yard around shed. Also have some creeper vines and poison ivy and kill grass and weeds in sidewalk. I soaked the leaves and waited. It is now 4 days later and nothing at all has been eliminated. All the weeds and vines look healthy. Either this stuff doesn't work or I got a bad batch. Either way I am now out $20 and I still have a weed and vine problem.

The brush killer plus can take up to a week to show results and up to 6 weeks for full death. For best results when applying to vines we recommend to cut them and paint the undiluted concentrate on to the ends with a paint brush. At your convenience, please feel free to reach out to us at 1-877-229-3724. We are available Monday-Friday 8:30-5 (CDT). We would be more than happy to further assist you with this issue. James

Poison ivy allergies urged me to find this fabulous product. I was not sure if it eill work as i walked away after some heavy spraying and only returning back to the area after a day or so. all 3 leaf headed plants had turned yellow and withered. Also sprayed on some thick plants that had managed their way to the top of other trees. Will definitely recommend this product as it was very specific to its intended target and not anything else growing around.

                Dont Buy
Just hit the 2 month point. As you see from my fence to the back pile. It's a good mix of small stuff but nothing think, or crazy. Just trying to keep it to dirt back there. Sprayed per the directions the back. Used 1 bottle. Only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is bc I did see it kill very very little. But not much at all had died. All got a very good amount of fluid sprayed on them. Very disappointed and DO NOT RECOMMEND. Spend you're money on another brand or pruduct.

Great stuff. When blackberries go out of control, this will reclaim that area. Spray when you have a 24 hour dry time after application. Acts over a couple weeks in spring, it takes longer in fall. Works but is less effective in winter and takes months for final results.

                  Not what I thought
3 weeks after application and many of the plants are coming back. I needed a spray that would rid my poison ivy problem, but most patches of the poison ivy have come back. I've had better results with other products. This product is not easy to spray. I believe it may be intended for small applications. Plan on having your own sprayer if you have a large area to cover.
