Q:Does this work against barberry bushes?

A:  BioAdvanced Brush Killer Plus is formulated to injure or kill any woody plant contacted. For control of Barberry bushes, I would recommend cutting them back and painting the concentrated formulation onto the freshly cut portion without diluting with water. -Madison

    A:  The Brush Killer Plus would be effective in killing woody type brush. For something like buckthorn, we would recommend to cut the plant and paint the undiluted concentrate onto the stump with a paint brush. -James

      A:  Hi, Karen! BioAdvanced Brush Killer Plus is only designed to kill listed weeds and woody brush. It is not designed to kill grass. However, to note, it is also not recommended for use in lawns as we could not guarantee effectiveness if used in a lawn.

                A:  When using the brush killer plus as a spray, we can't guarantee it would be effective. What we would recommend instead is using the concentrate of the brush killer plus, cutting the tree and painting the undiluted concentrate onto the end with a paint brush. James
