The customer service in this store is horrible. Martha in garden is the only good employee Ive come across lately. Ive been shopping this store since it opened and it progressively gets worse! And the parking lot is a joke with people begging for work! Why does Hone Depot allow this mess. They need to hire good employees with good work ethic. I found the guy helping me who was going to get a ladder after 20 minutes standing next to a ladder with 3 other employees chatting and laughing.

First time at this store, I tend to visit many Home Depot branches in the course of my job. This was early afternoon on a Wednesday and I immediately noticed how clean and well organised it is and how friendly and competent the staff are. Everything I needed was there, when I couldn’t find an item I was well directed to where it would be. I was in and out in no time thanks to the swift and friendly service of the staff. A special mention goes to the Customer Service team and Iliana at checkout. Highly recommend this Home Depot Branch.

Stay away from paints if Kenny is working there. He's a man-splainer -- gruff, rude, and generally unhelpful. The store manager would benefit from moving Kenny to a shelf-stocking shift, or find someone who is kinder to customers. Plenty of decent, out-of-work people in this economy. I'll take my business elsewhere next time.

This is a wonderful place were you can be treated like your at home and everyone has a helping hand if you can’t find what you’re looking for.

The store had the item I was looking for and Emily the store cashier was a delight to work with. She was very friendly and cheerful told me the benefits of getting a store credit card and happily helped me fill out the necessary information to get it.

The store was clean and the products were easy to find.

GOOD HOME IMPROVEMENT PLACE. MOST ITEMS IN STOCK WHILE DIFFERENT STORES DON'T HAVE THEM.

The store has more product in shopping carts than on shelves. Employees need to spread out instead of working on one project in the corner of the store. Store looks like a 2nd hand store. Cashiers should be greeting customers instead of sitting behind a podium lookin at their phone.

This Home Depot did have what I needed. But I would rather drive 3 more miles then come here again. Be prepared to be judge by the way you look

This store location is always clean and the associates are mostly attentive. HOWEVER, the layout of the carpet/blind area needs serious redesign and modifications for safety and compliance with COVID-19 guidelines. This area needs more than one associate to attend questions and orders from multiple customers at the same time as well.

I went to the store because of a Home Depot email promising 25% off in-stock paint. I brought an item that met this criterion to the counter and it didn't automatically register my Pro discount. The African American female Manager was called. First, she tried to say the discount didn't apply because I didn't use my Pro account enough. Then she said it was on-line only. I showed the email that actually stated it was "in-store" only. Then she begrudgingly said she would honor the discount. She gave a discount but I found out later when I got home and calculated the receipt that it was approximately 20% not 25%. I feel cheated and would never hire an inept person to represent my business.

The Garden Shop is always a warm and friendly place for my garden plants and supplies.

Rosemarie at the cash register was extremely helpful and made my visit at Home Depot a pleasant one. She was great! Also a shout out to the manager John for all he did to make things right for me. Both people were terrific.

I hate writing bad reviews but I hope no one has to go through the embarrassment of what I went through. I shopped around Home Depot and paid for ALL 5 items in my cart at self check-out as I grab my receipt I am approached by a woman and said "can I see your receipt please" I gave her my receipt and was expecting a Thank you have a great day however, there was a brief moment of silence and I said Is there a problem? This woman tells me it seems you only paid for 4 items, I get it maybe she missed an item didn't see it, for a moment I was confused myself and I counted the items to her all 5 items were on the receipt. My daughter and I always count the items as we scan. At this point I was so upset. I was the only customer in self check out that got her receipt checked and was accused of not paying an item. Okay? But here is the worst part of it ALL! I must address how unprofessional the "Line Manager" was in handling this situation. We went back and forth about policy and regulations He did not want to be wrong and well overall I was accused of something serious. The lady did not count the items correctly on the receipt, she did not apologize for the mistake and neither did the manager. In my opinion there is no need for someone to check the receipts of the customer which is why it would have been ideal if the line manager and the cashier were not too busy chit chatting in the corner of self-checkout. Going through such an embarrassment I decided to return the items that I had paid for and I told the line manager since they took the liberty to check my receipt accuse me of a thief, well he could have someone refund my items so I could be on my way because its clear that my business there was not appreciated. He walks me to returns and has me wait in line. AGAIN we would not be here if it was not for the way they treated me I was baffled I cannot believe I have to wait in line, I was not okay with it and he says I cannot have you cut in line, we went back and forth he says it must have been a misunderstanding, ok finally he said one thing right after maybe 30 minutes of arguing with this guy. The line at returns dies down and a different associate proceeded to return my items, I see him walking towards me and offers me 10% off, Are you kidding me. I wasted a whole 30 + minutes here, he treated me like I was the one that had a problem in front of my 5 year old daughter. One thing my daughter will take from this experience is not allowing people to belittle you based on your appearance, race, or whatever stereotype they had towards me. I returned all my items and will not step a foot in this Home Depot. I would hope this gets addressed, I understand the company loses money by people who steal, but they can also lose money to competitors by treating your customers unfairly and by the unprofessional service they provide to customers.

The store is very clean and organized.

This location, unlike others in the area, is excellent in terms of cleanliness, inventory, and helpfulness of customer service reps. A special shout-out to Yesenia, one of the most exceptional store managers I've ever encountered, and who went above and beyond to rectify what other online supervisors and other locations could not. YESENIA is outstanding in her intelligence, friendliness and courteous demeanor, and it it specifically because of Yesenia that I will be shopping at this location more often. BRAVO Woodland Hills!

Esteban or Efrain, a 55+ year old Garden associate that has been employed there for 18 years made your entire company look bad on this particular day. My mediocre interaction transpired with him at approximately 10:40am which is Power Hour if I’m not mistaken. I was outside garden, asked him for assistance with indoor plants, as I was unfamiliar with their growth process. I inquire - “Hi, are you available to assist?” He said yes. I then ask, “are you available to show me where the indoor plants are and how they grow?” He tells me there inside hanging up, looks me up and down and points to the door. I ask if he was free or was anyone available to show me. He says they’re inside. I walk off. I felt profiled. I felt belittled. I felt like he genuinely did not care about me as a person. He didn’t care about what I needed. It’s very unfortunate that after 18 years in the business and this is the service your associate provides? I am a former employee of Home Depot. I am GREAT friends that are currently store managers, co-store managers and operations managers of Home Depot locations in the South Bay Area of Los Angeles. Your associate should treat everyone with respect as he doesn’t know who he is facing. Completely, completely unacceptable. A beautiful kind spirited Garden associate, well seasoned woman with blonde hair then approached me and helps with everything. I loved her and she’s the slim reason why I might be back.

The staff was exceptional, from the nice young man who gave me a shopping cart to the several people who told me exactly where products were, to the man who knows his sheet metal, to the employee helping out at the self checkout. This is like Home Depot was on the day it first opened.
