Good store

Store managers need more customer services skills. They act like the customers weren't able to understand their company policies and they don't have the patience to explain it in a civilized way.

Very clean and organize, team member was friendly and knowledgeable of aisle number of what I was looking for and walked me right over to it.

The clerks and support staff at this store are excellent. They are friendly, helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. Just recently I purchased a custom colored deck stain that was not a good match for my house paint, I took it in to see if more brown could be added. After the clerk made several attempts to adjust the color, he finally told me to go return it and he would start with a new can of stain to get the color just right. Chris definitely went the extra mile to ensure I got what I needed.

Hiring local Hispanic youth has been the best thing to happen at the Freedom Home Depot in a long time. They are quick, friendly, offer to help & are knowledgeable. They have a good work ethic. They smile! I used to avoid shopping here: uninformed employees made the experience incredibly frustrating. Now, its my first choice.

Like other stores,. there are a lot to seect from. I think the Handy cap parking is a little over the top, but the store is great. I need a cane and have to walk to far in many cases, because I don't want to get a handy cap placard. There are to many spaces for the Handycap, and I am one of them.

I love that staff is friendly at the Watsonville Store!!! If you need assistance, they stop and offer to help. They always have "loaders" that can help you load heavy items.

It is a great store and the people that work there are very helpful and they always have what you need . The products you are looking for are there and if they are not they will get them for you in a day or two. The store is always clean and the associates very helpful and friendly .

I applaud your recent hires at the Freedom/Watsonville Store!! The recent large number of local young people you hired have made an incredible improvement in this store! They serve the customer! What a change. Why do I like them? They are smart, friendly & well trained. They are energetic & support each other in their determination to learn the entire store. I had avoided shopping here for years though it is nearby my home. If forced to shop here, I most often found it a very frustrating experience. Now, I look forward to visiting my local Home Depot. I hope other locations will learn from you. Hire & train our young people. They will make us proud!

I saw many employees, Sun. Aug 8. I was not asked, not once if I need help. Elderly people and women generally need help lifting or finding items. It was very unpleasant. I saw 5 employees at the refund area not with employees. I miss OSH.

I received excellent customer service in the gardening department by an employee named Chris who was able to track down everything I needed. Chris's manager (Merlin) seemed like a heck of a nice guy as well. Just a very friendly experience I had shopping at this Home Depot

I went to Home Depot to buy some lumber to repair a fence that had fallen down due to winter storms. I gathered up my merchandise and proceeded to the check stand. I got into a line with one customer ahead of me. When the customer ahead of me was finished with his transaction, I began to move forward. It was then that the check out person just walked away from the check stand. The overhead light was still on and the register was on. This made me believe that the checker was going to return. 10 minutes later, no checker. I stood there for 10 minutes and not one employee noticed that I was standing at a vacant check stand without a checker . I then went to another check stand and waited for another 10 minutes to pay for my items. Typically a checker will indicate that the check stand is closed. I felt like and idiot just standing there

We recently purchased a new GE oven and, a few days after it was installed, found that bottom oven would not heat to temperature. We experienced difficulty in getting GE customer service to help us with an early appointment to fix the problem. My wife went back to the store and Rick Padilla, department supervisor was kind enough to help her. His efforts resulted in our oven being serviced by our local technician with GE paying for the service call - $80. Thanks again, Rick, for your help. merry Christmas!

I was looking for a breaker in electrical and not able to find it. Johnnie came by and offered to help. Sure enough, the part I was looking for was not on the shelf. Johnnie searched his inventory by checking their scanner and found that the part I was looking for had just arrived by truck. Johnnie offered to try to find what I needed, and sure enough, about 10 minutes later, Johnnie came back to me with the breaker I needed. Bravo! A very pleasant and helpful experience. Thank you!

I WAS SORT OF LOST WHEN I FIRST WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR. THE PLACE WAS SO BIG THAT IT TOOK SOME TIME TO LOCATE THE APPLIANCE DEPARTMENT, BUT ONCE I WAS THERE, I FOUND AND BOUGHT MY WASHING MACHINE. IT WAS EASY.
