The Veterans discount rarely, if ever, works. Still, it's a good store with friendly, helpful people.

Lucia was pleasant, efficient and had great energy while checking me out. Such a great experience when someone enjoys their job and is happy to be there.

Our Sale Cashier Karol was wonderful to help us saving some greens, and Susan and Neil were also friendly and very helpful during our today's visit. Good store to visit.

I purchased Windows from Mark in the Vista store and I must have had him work up 7 different designs for me. He was amazing! He was patient and kind throughout the entire process. I am not easy to work with (super picky) He took a genuine interest in my project and went above and beyond any employee I have ever worked with. His follow up was amazing and worked up several large bids in super timely manner.

Cashier Paul goes above and beyond. I was in line to pay for my items and noticed the customer before me was distracted with a call. Paul, in doing his job, proceeded to scan items while the customer was finishing a call. The man pointed out he had like 20 pcs of lumber when in fact Paul only counted 19. Paul was quick to ask the customer if he wanted to add another piece of lumber of which the customer agreed. The checkout was smooth for the distracted customer and myself thanks to Paul who went above and beyond for this fellow. All while doing an excellent job and with a smile on his face while interacting with each customer.

I buy all of my building supplies at the Vista Home Depot as they usually have exactly what I'm looking for. Their staff is the friendliest and the most knowledgeable of all the Home Depots in the region.

Employees are great, building is clean, it is a big building. Will always come here even though there is one closer to me.

We have many options for home improvement supplies near our home. But, the store in Vista is staffed with the nicest, helpful, knowledgeable men and women.

i went in with a plumbing problem, and an electrical too... the clerks went over the top to find the correct items to fill my needs one fella even walked me to the correct section, to help find a couple of items not under his aisles of expertise. The front end self service aisle was available anf the lady was there to assist and bag up my items perfect day! and only one $2.59 part to return on my next trip thanks

The Vista Optimist Club is hosting a fundraiser for the Vista Youth November 13, 2021 called Brisket, Bourbon & Brews. The Home Depot, S. Melrose location graciously donated a very desirable Dewalt 20Volt Impact Kit to be added to the event's silent auction.

One of the nicest Home Depots to shop in that I've visited. Clean, rarely crowded, friendly staff and plenty of parking.

My mom and I went looking for a specific tool, Nick at Vista Home Depot tore apart the store trying to find it for us, called multiple locations and reserved one for us at the closest one he could find. Such great service! That was awesome, we are grateful!

This store consistently works to keep customers safe during the pandemic. From the cleaning of the carts to the available sanitizing wipes, Home Depot was the only store of this type I would go into during the pandemic. Your major competitor failed miserably on this. Was happy to support a company who wanted to keep customers safe during this difficult time.

We can't say enough positive things about this store! We have shopped at several HD stores over many years and this store, by far, is the most well run, organized store of all. It is incredibly clean and organized, the staff is always available and knowledgeable about their area of responsibility, and product availability is very good. We have experienced staff escorting us to other areas and finding someone in that area to help, or offering to help us in another area. In other stores we have to "hunt" for someone to help us. There is also plenty of room to maneuver through the aisles without feeling cramped or running into other shoppers. Product availability is very consistent. We have found product that was not available in other HDs and replenishment dates were unknown. This HD has had what we wanted and on the ONE occasion they did not have something, they looked up the expected replenishment date so we could plan accordingly, and also told us another store who had it in stock. We have been consistently pleased with our product purchases, and the cashiers will even offer tips and advice for a particular item. The employees are pleasant and seem to enjoy their jobs, which can be a rarity today. This speaks well of their store manager and her ability to train staff and create a pleasant work environment. We travel a little further to shop at this store and have made this our HD of choice (home store).

Sales associates are helpful in finding specific items. If they don't know immediately, they will query on line for the correct aisle. The people at checkout are generally personable and efficient.

The store was very clean and organized. We shop here all the time and it is a very convenient store for anything from plants to tools. I have never had a bad experience with this store and we have shopped here for almost 8 years! The staff is always friendly and we are always greeted into the store.

This store is always clean and neat and usually uncrowded which is nice since I browse when I shop sometimes. The employees are very helpful as well.

Store was well laid out with wide aisles and well stocked inventory. Was able to find a find a replacement for my patio slider screen door which had an odd dimension. The store stocked an adjustable screen door model that other stores did not have which made for a "no problem" installation.

This review is not so much a reflection on the Vista store as it is in Home Depot's customer service and operations when it comes to home delivery. My home delivery was scheduled between 6 am and 8pm. I could not get an approximate time - not even a 4 hour window. I wasted a whole day waiting because the material was bulky and I needed to be there to give unloading instructions. The material was mistakenly put on a semi-tractor-trailer which is not allowed in my neighborhood. The delivery was cancelled without notice. HD said they would re-deliver on a smaller truck. They missed the second delivery date because they repeated their same mistake of loading a semi-tractor-trailer. The third delivery date was rescheduled without notifying me. I had now wasted 36 hours, cancelled doctors appointments, missed little league games all because HD can't schedule a delivery and follow through on it. Furthermore, the Vista store had the order filled by the Oceanside store, and delivered by a 3rd party delivery service and none of the three parties could effectively communicate with the other two. The worst delivery experience I have ever had, and it's not over yet. As I'm writing this it's late in the day and it looks like I'll be missing a 4th delivery
