The store employees is what I look at when I decide to buy from that store. The Home Depot is always a great chose, friendly, and willing to help each and every time I have shopped there..

The store always has trash all over the floors, in the parking lot etc. there’s about 4 to 6 employees always standing around talking and no one can ever assist you you have to go hunt somebody down. Today I was accosted at the door and demanded to see my receipt and when I couldn’t produce it quick enough they shove my cart back into the store and wouldn’t let me leave with my products until I showed them a receipt as soon as I show them the receipt the lady just said she’s doing her job. Her name is Leah or Lea. Then the manager on duty Sarah came over and was no help and just said that she will talk to her and then she asked me where my mask was and said that I’m standing too close to her when as I’m trying to walk out she keeps walking closer to me. I’ve been to this location about 30+ times no kidding and I have never been treated this way. The behavior I experience today makes me not want to ever return to the store I was definitely profiled and treated like a criminal because I couldn’t get my receipt quick enough out of my pocket completely ridiculous and unacceptable.

I would especially like to commend Cheryl and Alice at checkout! They are both fast, efficient, and friendly every time we shop at the Tehachapi store. They know their store, the processes, and the true meaning of customer focus. Thank them both!!

Home Depot, in general, needs to go back to their roots when this business was still up and coming. They were fun back then. They had give aways, free coffee, you could go there and pick up your materials and it dint seem like part ofthe daily grind. Now they have gotten really way out there. You dont want to do the surveys because they willingly hand you over to companys that will get your bank card number and rip you off like the dash camera co. Home Depot no longer cares about the consumer. Its about Corperate now!

This is my favorite store in Tehachapi. Thank you for being here.

always friendly and helpful

The store was well organized, everything I needed to purchase was in stock and the prices were good.

Employee help is hard to find. When requesting management I was told not available with no other options. I solved the problem after calling Corporate and was referred to Telecheck which should have been an option for Home Depot to get payment approved

Every time I have gone into this store, the employees have been friendly and have gone out of their way to be helpful. I am working on some home improvement projects, so I go into the store quite often, and my experience has been consistently good every time. I would highly recommend this store.

I am painting my bedroom a bold color and the paint counter staff especially Izzy was awesome & very patient in helping me achieve the color I was wanting . I brought in a paint sample which was dark and wanted it lighter and she helped alot in getting the right color!!!

Employees were extremely helpful. The gentleman at the construction desk gave me some needed advice on what to bring so he can help me with what I need to buy to install gutters on my home. Katherine, the sales cashier was super nice and double bagged my items as they were on the heavy side.

I FIND THIS STORE WITH EMPLOYEE'S THAT HAVE GOOD ATTITUDES AND ARE WILLING TO HELP. I FOUND EVERYTHING I WENT FOT AT THIS HOME EPOT. THE ENTIRE STORE IS KEPT VERY CLEAN, AND THEY'RE FOLLOWING COVID 9 PROTOCOL.

The worst customer service out of any Home Depot store I’ve been too. Plenty of people sitting/standing around, yet nobody is willing to help. I’m 9 months pregnant, and asked for assistance measuring and cutting baseboard. And I was told “you just use that saw.”. Obviously.... Then I had to come back for more a couple weeks later, flagged someone down for assistance and he said he would call someone to help me (The moulding I needed was taped together in a huge bundle). Needless to say, I heart him say “held in isle 23”, and nobody showed up. Not one person asked if I needed help (again 9 months pregnant pulling around a cart with 5 Doors, bags of concrete, etc lol). This stores service just sucks.

Management tells employees not to engage customers who do not wear a mask. Therefore several customers do not wear masks routinely. Also employees are taking risks standing within a few feet of masked and unmasked customers. This is a health risk to employees and their families as well as customers. Home Depot needs to find a polite way to ask customers to wear masks and should stand up for employee and customer safety like they do for other safety concerns in this hardware store.

I found what I was looking for and also received some valuable assistance from a friendly and honest sales person regarding some tools.

I love shopping at the Tehachapi Home Depot because it’s very clean and the staff is very friendly

employees are very helpful and knowledgeabl. I like how small items are coded so there is long delay looking up price, e.g., bolts BDJ code o head

A good friendly Home Depot. Just doesn't have quite as much stock as Ridgecrest or some of the other Home Depots. Lancaster, Palmdale etc.

This store is well stocked most of the time.

Home Depot might be differance then big city big box stores. Tehachapi is a small town and most people know every one. I know all my election offical The next HP or lowes is 50 miles away I am the mountain frestival chairman and HP has help me out many times Keep up the good job

Tehachapi Home Depot has the best pro desk employees! They are always quick, knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. And they’re positive attitudes are appreciated.

Recently moved to Tehachapi and am very pleased to find Home Depot here and only a few miles from my home. The store is quite large and the people are very helpful and friendly. Over the last month we have shopped at the Home Depot at least once a day as we make our new (30 year old) home our own. Thank you for being who you are.

Each time I needed assistance I received it fully, and was handed the item I came for. I think this store has great staff.

I found myself in the habit of ordering most everything online, then our main refrigerator went out and because of delays caused by COVID, the earliest repair date would be 2 weeks out. So I went in thinking about a mini refrigerator I could take home, just to get by, but the gal who waited on me showed me a larger (but still compact) fridge on the floor that was much more attractive that would comfortably fit our needs and I could have it right away. Bottom line, the in-store experience was much more satisfying than I would have had with one of the "biggies" online. I'm now a fan of returning to in store shopping at Home Depot.

Home Depot # 6835 in Tehachapi is extremely well administered and run. Shopping at this store is always a pleasure as was the case today!
