Fine experience if you just want a candy bar or some batteries but don't expect any help in the lumber department. It took 45 minutes to get someone to come and help in lumber. And this was my second attempt because the first time both saws were broken. This is why big box retail is slowly circling the drain. Online sales have eroded their margins to the point where they can't afford to staff their stores properly. Immediacy and hard to ship products are the only threads of viability they have to hang on to.

Not enough customer help in Painting/Plumbing/Electrical and others

Love the selection of Christmas everything and the Black Friday merchandise was great. Got our "perfect tree" there with very little family fighting.

Store# 6968 2600 Soquel 41st Avenue 95073 Floor sales clerk (Karen) was very rude and unpleasant employee this morning. She was chatting with a friend about her Christmas shopping and refused to help me with directing me to find free standing shelving. She lacks customer service care.

Watch out! When they say you are leaving a deposit on a propane tank, you're actually buying the thing and you will never see your deposit again!

As a contractor this is my main vendor. They have or can get anything and the folks at the pro desk are super helpful. Putting orders on the bid room saves me a lot of money.

The only changes I would make is to make it easier to find the lumber carts, and clear some of the obstacles in the aisles to make maneuvering easier. The personnel is awesome and extremely helpful.

I love this Home Depot! It was recommended by the dog trainer to bring our puppy in for socialization. Pup is in training for therapy dog for convalescent home. Employees had treats for him! He now gets excited when we pull in to the parking lot..

Looking for reasonable plus one stop shop. Time is important for all of us. We have people who are waiting, trust a affordable product and quality to install, cleaning, decorating. Flowers, bushes, Everything. Nothing more needs to be written Everything.

Store had everything I needed, along with great customer service. Matthew at the service desk was very nice and knowledgeable and he helped me with everything I needed.

Alexaa in the prodesk was very helpful to me and my wife. we spent several days with multiple visits working with Alexaa to put together and finalize a large order to do a major diy project in our yard. Thank you alexaa!

I might be a little harsh on the store because it is difficult to get customer service there don't seem to be enough employees and those that are there can be two or three people waiting to ask questions depends on the time of day you go also I'm sure and when I went shopping for some PVC three-quarter inch pipe it was completely out I couldn't believe it the cashiers are always friendly they get 10 stars as far as cleanliness I'm sorry I have to say no when you have cement all over the floor and aggregate on the floor all day long because I visited in the morning and I visited in the evening for some more parts and it was still there that's not so good. As far as the associates go I've got no problem with them, you just need more of them, there are never enough. I go to the store almost 4 times a week and they just don't seem to be enough associates.

Garden department staff is lazy. Garden department is horrible.

This store is in trouble. There is a problem with staffing everytime I visit. The management appears to not have an interest in obtaining good reliable staff and keeping the employee. There is a depressing feeling when I go in this store. The management is horrible.

All I can say is that my overall experience because of your STAFF, specifically Mike in tools and Anna cashier was great!

I am re-landscaping my back yard and made several trips to this store over the last week. John in the garden section was very helpful and knowledgeable about my decisions. He put up with my many trips back and forth and helped load my Jeep and get me on my way. He was very friendly, professional and handy! I will def be back and ask for him with any upcoming yard needs.

The employees have always been helpful and pleasant . I would say my one complaint is that it is a smaller store and some things I'm looking for they don't have in stock. Them they recommend going to the larger stores in Watsonville or San Jose. My complaint is that's a 30+ mile farther drive. Other than that I'm very happy with the store. But most stores in the Santa Cruz are smaller than over the Hill in San Jose.

Excellent customer service and quick help locating items!

Best hardware shopping experience in Santa Cruz county! They have courteous and helpful staff, right down to hooking you up with what you REALLY need for any project. They generally have the best prices on items related to your home -- even when I see an item on sale at other stores I always check our local Home Depot as they often beat other's sale prices (I once made the mistake of buying an HVAC setup from S**** without double-checking and paid many times what I would have at Home Depot!). But the biggest plus is that they have the best selection of home-related items, by far, of any store in Santa Cruz county. When you put it all together it is to me the best home shopping EXPERIENCE you can get around here!

EXCELLENT EFFORTS BY THE STORE MANAGEMENT and STAFF to find needed fencing materials and additional items needed such as concrete mix, gravel, hardware, etc. Next Day Local delivery of large 8 Foot Long x 6 Feeh High Fencing sections was excellent and very impressive by One-Man Delivery Man ---JUAN. Give them All A Bonus.
