I always shop at this store. It is close to my home. I have visited a couple of others but always prefer this store. The employees are friendly and helpful and always have time to have a short conversation. The store is clean and check out is quick.

I was helped by the store manager Sean of the garden department but did not know he was the manager in the beginning. Very courteous, professional, informative and worked with me to get the proper soils I needed for two different types or ways of planting vegetables.

This store was pretty good and It had everything I was looking for.

Susan was incredibly rude to me upon entering. I walked through the entrance with my cart several feet away from her and she turned around and shouted “EXCUSE ME” at me. I was shocked and asked her if she was ok because I was so confused as to why she did that. I then asked her where the boxes were and she didn’t make eye contact and sharply said “41”. As I was trying to check out she kept telling other customers to go in front of me with my full cart and I finally said I had been waiting and she shouted that the self checkout over there was open. She then yelled at me to “go ahead and report” as I was walking out. It was horrible and upsetting and completely uncalled for.

I really enjoy shopping at this particular HD store because I have always had a positive experience shopping for any item I may need because they have some real good employees that really do seem to care about the customers, any time I've needed helping with helping me find an item I may be looking for I always get someone eagerly to help answer any question(s) I may have and also spend a good amount of quality time explaining how any given item/product works and are very helpful with answers and or suggestions, I've never felt like they are rushed to quickly brush me off or have never been short with me. I have nothing bad or negative to say about this store, they have actually improved with having more employees around for each and every department or specialty isles.

Every time I go into Home Depot I always get the help I need immediately. All employees are eager to help you with whatever you need, and if that particular person cannot answer your question or give you the help needed, they will go to another employee for assistance. They just won't leave you hanging. With the size of the store and all areas of what home improvement is, their expertise and knowledge helps immensely to save me time having to go up and down every aisle until I find what I need.

Great customer service especially when assisting older customers

Had a decent selection of their products. All express/self-serve check outs seem to be card only. Did not want to use a card for a small purchase. Was directed to a cashier that was suppose to be able to take cash. After ringing it up, the cashier didn't have any coin so I ended up having to pay more for the items I was purchasing. They technically rounded up the purchase total. I would have assumed that for better customer service they should have rounded up the change coming back instead. Felt slighted, but did not fuss in the store about it. Did not want to cause customers to be delayed in returning safely to their homes.

If you need plants and need help finding what works for your home go see Mary in the plant department. This store is easy to access and everyone is helpful.

Today my husband and I were shopping for lumber. While waiting in line my husband noticed that the sticker was missing from the 10X10 we were purchasing. When it was our turn my husband explained to the associate who was checking us out that the tag was missing from the lumber. The associate was clearly bothered by this and stated to my husband (in spanish) that next time he needs to make sure the tag is there. My husband explained that he usually makes sure of that, and he does not know what happened this time. The associate continued to reiterate to ensure the lumber is tagged when we check out. The associate looked up the lumber using his touch screen/photo system. He found the item with what seemed to be no problem at all. He then proceeded to give us our total. My husband must of hear the total incorrectly, and handed him the wrong amount. The associate stated in an irritated tone the correct total, and stated you gave me $12.00, my husband said, Öh, I thought you said, $12...... The associate simply repeats the total once again with the same irritated tone. At this point I leave to look for a manager. I saw two gentleman who were using devices. I approach them, and ask the one who was closest to me if he worked there. He simply moved the front of his body exposing his orange Home Depot apron and lifts it at the sides, with no words. At this point I was even more upset and told him, I guess everyone who works here is just as rude as M (the initial of the cashier). This gentleman did not hear me at first, so I repeated myself to him. Come to find out he was an assistant manager. He did quickly change his attitude however. I briefly explained what had happened with the cashier and my husband. During this time my husband and the associate were still arguing back and forth (all in spanish) The assistant manager looked over, and realized what was happening, and quickly went over to see what was happening. He called out to his associate to stop. During this time the associate was handing my husband his change. The coins fell on the floor, and my husband told him to pick them up. He then stated in front of store management Oh really, you dropped the change. My husband said, No, it is the way you handed it to me. The associate said, I do not want to touch you (COVID). The assistant manager stepped in at this point, and said he would deal with the associate.

Ross was incredibly helpful and diligent. He helped me chose the right tools, and even guided to to ways to get the best deal by bundling multiple tools. He also helped research items to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed!

I want to commend 3 employees: Christian in Hardware/Power tools and Gabby and Daisy at the registers. With only one item left in stock, Christian was kind enough to put aside and carry a very large saw for me all via a phone call. Gabby and Daisy were able to help me with registration of a Home Depot credit card, and also very patient when there were difficulties during checkout. They were quick to find solutions and all of the aforementioned staff were incredibly helpful. All of them working late on 4th of July during a pandemic!

Store is well maintained and there are so many employees to help you out. Good part about this store you get that special attention as a customer and all your questions get answered. Employees are knowledgeable to answer questions when you are a tech savy and ask so many questions. Easy to navigate around and you can find all your things you need for this weekend. Wish Home Depot carry more variety of plants and hope they maintain their plants better. Looking forward to do more shopping on appliances here as we get a better price compared to other stores.

This store has employees in every department that are very knowledgeable about the department they work in plus other departments as well. Because of employees being so knowable it is always easy for me to find someone who can help with questions I might have about a repair or project I am working on. Highly recommend shopping at the SE Austin location!

My experience at this store was outstanding. As I walked in the cleanliness and organization of the store stood out, shelves fully stocked to the max and no carts blocking isles. Employees (all three I encountered) were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Mike know's what he's doing when it comes to questions in Garden and Hardware. When I talk about a tool I don't know the name of. Mike know's exactly what I'm talking about. Thank you <3
