This store has products that are not reliable right out of the box. Recent purchases of a light fixture from Home Depot were frustrating to say the least.. Fixture right out of the box did not work while I had a certified electrician at our house to install it. Also, the light fixture was to actually replace a light fixture that had been on a recall due a safety hazard with the way the glass fixture affixed to the base. The light bulbs also were sensitive to finger oils when replaced and had to wear white gloves to avoid a new light bulb to burn out right way. The quality of products in the lighting department, in my opinion, are questionable at Home Depot if you are doing home repairs on your own and not relying on a contractor to complete a remodeling job and has the time to return products when they do not work right out of the box. This fiasco cost me three trips to Home Depot. Count them, 1 original purchase, 2. return purchase which included a second fixture just to have when I returned to my home where an electrician was waiting for a working light fixture to install. 3. return trip to return the extra fixture I had to purchase to insure something was installed in my bathroom while the electrician was there. I sent a email thru their customer care email and also filled out a survey. Lets see if anyone contacts me with some compensation for this horrible experience.

If you want amazing customer service in the Lawn and Garden department you need to visit this store. There is a lady that goes by the name of Feri. She is absolutely helpful. If you are lucky enough to find her you will be getting the best customer service ever.

I like all Home Depots , but I really like this one the most. All the employees that work here are so nice and friendly. It's just a nice experience whenever I shop here. I will be back!

Flooring employees don't know how to look up information on computer and tell customer that they don't carry that flooring but that it can be ordered at other Home Depot Stores because they carry it, and then sell customer different flooring and not know it is not smooth finish when customer wants smooth finish to match other hardwood floor.

GREAT AMOUNT OF NEEDED SUPPLIES WHEN NEEDED FOR WHAT NECESSARY JOB AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE..

Went into the store to purchase wood flooring, and the two associates involved in assisting me during the purchase were exceptional from a customer service focus. Highly recommend Home Depot, and especially the Schaumburg store.

I was very impressed with the paint department. Cain, the sales associate in that area, matched the paint sample I had brought in perfectly. The overall ambiance in this store is "very welcoming"!

We come to this store for many of our home improvement and garden needs and even for the kids' workshops! Always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! I had a particularly pleasant visit recently in which a woman named Feri went above and beyond her call of duty by offering me a raincoat to wear in the pouring rain while we went outside to see what kinds of mulch were available to purchase. Then after I paid for the mulch and soil, she loaded all 10 bags of mulch and 3 bags of soil into my van for me, all in time to pick up my son from soccer camp! Always very helpful and friendly at this store!

Home depot stores are great because you can find anything you need however in my last visit there was one price in the item I shop and a different one when I check out. Need to be more careful because people it's looking for sale prices and when that doesn't match when checking out people can get very upset and not take it lightly as a did. Been careful when put prices in items it's the key.

Store is clean and has most items in stock. People at check out are very friendly. Gave 3 stars due to unsatisfying services from associates. Renovating our whole house, we asked an associate to help us open a Project Loan to take advantage of the 84 months to pay offer, instead, associate opened a credit card that has 6 months to pay offer (credit score and everything went through already). Then purchasing ALL the items for our renovation at Home Depot, for the first time, we had to exchange 3 packaging of "nickel support" that cost about $11 total due to wrong size, associate Shannon was very rude. As I was telling her that I don't have the receipt, she interrupted me and told me "I need your Drivers License!", when I had an electronic version of my receipt. Hope others won't experience the same.

The employees at this location have always been helpful and knowledgeable. The selection is pretty good and with the price match guarantee you cant go wrong here!

Bill, the Store Manager, goes above and beyond to satisfy his customers. I also see how he inspires his employees to do the same. I have shopped at this store for almost 23 years and will continue to do so. Store is clean, shelves are well stocked, displays are impactful and has employees that are always willing to help !

Associates were not helpful and bordering on rude. Asked for help finding a cart to buy doors. Was told they must all be in the parking lot - then he just walked away. Found an abandoned cart and unloaded it to make this purchase. Told the cashier that there were no carts available, so maybe tell a manager to get someone to bring some back in. Was told she wouldn’t talk to the manager as it was a waste of time. Best bet was to fill out an online survey and review. Ok, here you go. Thanks for all of your “help”.

I had very bad experience of store employee at 100 barrington rd, schaumburg home depot which is closer to my home. I bought a toilet & ask the employee at the register. Her name was Melissa. She was very rude to me & seems she needs training on customer service. Other two girls were also careless for customer. My handyman told me later that he never goes to this home depot. He always goes to elgin or elk grove home depot. May be I might would purchase my things other than home depot. Like Menards has great customer service.

This store has great service and is very organized. The staff is exceptional, I didn't have to find someone to help me , he was there asking me what it was I needed and helped . I would send anyone here for anything , this store has everything and the prices are very good. Great deals on appliances, and other things. This store is very CLEAN and ORGANIZED. Every associate was helpful. I have been here many times and always great service.
