THE STORE IS IN A GOOD LOCATION AND HAS ALOT OF PARKING. MOST THE TIME PEOPLE ON THE FLOOR ARE HELPFULL. ONLY THING I FIND FRUSTRATING IS THEY ARE OUT OF STOCK ALL THE TIME ON SEVERAL ITEMS WE NEED FOR OUR COMPLEXES, WE USE THE SAME ITEMS FOR ALL THE UNITS. LIKE VERTICAL BLINDS, FRAMED MIRRORS, BATHROOM VANITIES ECT ..WE LIKE THE UNITS TO MATCH AND WE FIND OURSELVES HAVING TO GO TO PALO ALTO OR FOSTER CITY HOME DEPOTS TO LOOK FOR THESE ITEMS..WE LIVE IN REDWOOD CITY AND 2 PROPERTIES WE MANAGE ARE ALSO IN REDWOOD CITY SO THE SAN CARLOS HD IS VERY CONVENIENT..ALL IN ALL IM OK WITH SAN CARLOS HD

Associates at Home Depot #0628 are such professional individuals and takes their jobs very seriously. The new store layout is much better. Your site is becoming clearer with update information on products. Thank you. Keep up the good work since consumers lost a home product store last week. Congratulations.

Easier parking with wider stalls for loading & unloading. Employees seem to keep the parking area clear of shopping baskets & flatbeds carts. There's a person at the entrance guiding you where you need to go. The employees work together as a team, they call each other for immediate help if they do not know the answer. The garden shop is well stocked with more variety than the other Home Depot locations I go to. The Kitchen & Bath department is superb with the ability to research the data base, solve unusual problem, & dependable to return calls. The store is clean and feels "happy" when you enter. Employees tend to keep helping other employees when store gets crowded with customers.

A couple of months ago, we ordered a GE fridge from Home Depot's website, which was fulfilled by the San Carlos store. We also purchased their extended warranty. The fridge was delivered a week later with no issues, the delivery was quick and seamless, and we stocked our new fridge with food. Unfortunately 4 days later, the refrigerator stopped keeping cool. You could still feel cold air coming out, by the inside of the fridge was around 50 degrees at best. The freezer portion, however, had no issue. Home Depot doesn't accept returns of this fridge after 48 hours. Ugh. I called Home Depot's warranty claim service to file a claim, since I had purchased the extended warranty. Since the fridge was still covered by GE's 1-year warranty, they refused to help me directly. They routed me to GE's warranty service, who agreed to send out a technician. Several days later without a working fridge, a GE technician comes to assess the fridge, determines that there is no issue with the fridge, but there is an issue with the freezer. Parts are going to take over a week to arrive. That means I'll be without a working fridge for almost two weeks! I call Home Depot in desperation and am lucky enough to speak with Sales Associate Nikki, who immediately takes ownership of the situation to resolve it. She quickly understands what a horrible experience I've had, and assures me that she will take care of it. She grabs my phone number so she can work on things behind the scenes with her manager, and calls me later that day to basically tell me she's going to take care of me by allowing me to return the fridge, give me my full money back, pay for the cost of return shipping, and give me a discount on a new fridge. Amazing customer service!! Home Depot's return policies may be a little wacky, but Nikki seemed willing to bend over backwards to make sure my horrible experience was completely turned around. I'm so thankful for the quick turnaround with getting my issue resolved! Nikki is truly a lifesaver!
