shortage of employees wasted a lot of time.looking for help

Don't buy a box of fluorescent bulbs and try to return a defective one. They will only give a credit if you return the whole box. Not logical!

The staff was knowledgeable and the experience was hastle free.

Very well organized store, always find what I need at the right place !

Pushy solar salesman right at the entrance. They sold me a propane refill without actually having propane, then wasted 40 minutes of my time before someone could tell me that they had no propane. Employees at this store can't be bothered to answer questions, help, or even get out of the way. Avoid this place like the plague.

Check out clerk at garden center register was sarcastic and condescending. Obviously didn't want to be working there.

This store could have more employees in the aisles but Jackie at the service desk was very helpful. She knew where most products were in the store and she was very friendly.

Went to buy a grill good luck no one could seem to help me and certain employes there are extremely disrespectful.

Bad customer services

Very good store. Slow in restocking and low staff so you should check before going to see exactly what you need but those that are there are ok with knowing stock. OLDER TERMS ARE A PUZZLE TO THEM THOUGH :D

The Salem store is always clean and in order. They generally have products in stock. My only complaint is the staff. They have 1 person who works in plumbing and wears measuring tape suspenders who is amazing, incredibly helpful and friendly and bends over backwards to try to help. I’ve also had great customer service by the woman who works in window treatments. Aside from that when I can get someone to stop and help which is hard depending on who is there, they either say they don’t work that department and walk away or they don’t know anything about the department that they do work in. I’ve left the store completely unsatisfied about 75% of the time.

I'm 67 yrs old and have been shopping here for years. I always manage to find what I need at this store. The employees I approach are generally pleasant and helpful and will more often than not lead me directly to what I'm lookiing for and are willing to answer questions if asked. My only complaint is that there should be at least 3 personal cashiers at all times. Usually there's 2 or sometimes only 1 along with the self-checkout which can back things up in and of itself. It would also be helpful to hire more people to work the aisles while I'm shopping. The store is always organized and neat. My favorite one.

The store location is convenient and the staffs were friendly and professional in their answers to questions. The store was clean and items conspicuously arranged for customers to identify.

I enjoy going here even though it means I have to work on my house. Everything is accessible and there are plenty of employees around to ask questions. I just needed paint and stuff today and the counter woman was polite and professional. She even laughed at my stupid jokes.

I have shopped several different home improvement stores over the years and I have found that I always have the best experience at Home Depot!! They always have what I need/want in stock and the staff members are so very friendly and truly helpful!! I no longer shop anywhere else for my home improvement needs, as Home Depot makes me feel right at home while I am shopping!!

I find these stores to have generally miserable staff. Catherine at this store went above and beyond to assist me and I appreciated her level of service.
