The customer service is horrible. The store is a mess. I had an extremely rude cashier named Karli . She was terrible, treated me badly and needs training in customer service!

store was clean and tidy and a safe space to shop

From the parking lot to the store, its always been clean. Staff is mainly friendly, return ladies can be a bit grumpy and moody, paint section can be a bit happier, 2 times I've come home with 1 of the 2 gallons mixed wrong, 1 time having to paint my living room over the next day, due to a color missed in the first gallon or 2nd. The cashier's are always friendly and personable. I always go to this Spanish cashier Magali, she's always been so nice, knows her stuff and is a hard loyal employee.

The store had protocols in place due to the corona virus. Felt comfortable shopping.

Paid for items. Leaving the store automatic doors, Dropped a quart of paint in front of entrance of the store, from shopping kart. Couldn’t get help for many minutes. Tried to help get a manager who did not want to help with this situation. Offered to help clean the mess and no one wanted to assist me in this manner. More minutes passed on and worker from the store eventually came to help clean the mess that I offered to help clean as well. Was told need to buy replacement paint once leaving. Not happy leaving the store because management didn’t want to help with the situation in which I offered to help as well. It was an accident that had happened and not happy because I have to purchase another quart of paint.

After years of planning and obtaining estimates from local contractors I sat with frank in kitchen design and he guided me through the easy and super affordable process of my kitchen remodel. Cannot praise his efforts enough. He went above and beyond in every aspect.

Home Depot has now did away with cashiers. They want you to not only pay for your materials but they want you to work to check out while they save money by not having to pay a cashier!!!! Unreal!!!!

A young man - just about to go home at the end of his shift - provided me a huge assist in the aisle where I was looking for a hedge trimmer. Had he not shown up, I would have gone home with a chainsaw. (And what 80+ woman needs a chainsaw?) The woman who was assisting SELF checkout gave me MOST friendly assistance with the unwieldy box and was MOST pleasant in our brief exchange. What a positive work experience she reflected --- and I hope that such positivity is indeed rewarded.

The Home Depot in Riverhead is always my go to home improvement store. It is always clean and well stocked for most items that I need.

The new check out stations are horrible, there are less registers then before and the workers helping at the registers are required to help every person needing to check out.

Darlene helped me locate peanut oil she was fantastic!

Help was excellent. The items I needed need restocking.

Nenita (The cashier) was so helpful in getting me the Moss Out that I needed. But ALL employees were very helpful. Especially the lady with the fiery red hair. Helped me immensely.

BUYING STUFF IS EASY AND EFFICIENT, WELL STOCKED, GOOD LEVELS OF GOOD STAFF, THE SELF CHECKOUT WORKS WELL, AND THE E-RECEIPTS ARE GREAT. HOWEVER WHEN ISSUES ARISE (E.G. RETURNS), THE PHONES DON'T GET ANSWERED EASILY... COULD USE SOME IMPROVEMENT THERE.

Joe in the door department was patient and knowledgeable.
