As I approached the return counter with my web purchase, not associated with the Riverhead store, I was hesitant. I was greeted by Julia’s smiling eyes (all have on masks) and she then reached out to Lisamarie. What I initially thought would be a somewhat complicated transaction, was handled effortlessly and graciously. Great customer service!

This is the best Home Depot store I have ever frequented. I have been to many of them. The workers are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. The store is very well organized and clean.

We designed and purchased a kitchen through the Riverhead Home Depot and had the pleasure to work with Frank Gazdick. I can't say enough good things about Frank. He is friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He truly went out of his way to design a beautiful kitchen for us and to get us everything we wanted. He and the team he works with in the store are great and I would highly recommend him and this store.

Dina, a recently hired cashier was helpful, courteous and a pleasure to meet the other night ..... and "Casey" the store manager is always very helpful. Home Depot's ability to find and hire courteous employees goes without question. However, courtesy and manners don't cut the cake when it comes down to the bottom line .... which is obviously "PROFIT MARGINS" for Home Depot EXECUTIVES. THE FACT that the very people and businesses that have put Home Depot where they are ( PROFITABLE) ...are sadly being taken for granted now, AND THAT GENTLEMEN is a gross understatement. The "Pro Department" is an embarrassment and OBVIOUSLY becoming less and less a priority to those making important decisions at Home Depot. As you CONTINUE to reduce the size of the PRO-department, employ ridiculous return policies, hire UNQUALIFIED personal who are left to run various departments and employ a general inability to deliver supplies to a job site in a timely, well orchestrated and accurate manner, the result of which will eventually cost Home Depot a very dear price over time, its pretty obvious which direction Home Depot is going in. More important than that, Corporate's lack of concern or desire to prioritize the trades, as they once attempted to, is a sign to me that Home Depot is a confirmation that its on its way "down hill" just like SEARS and as you believe that the profit margins you've been generating by selling inferior "Chinese made products" is not only a disservice to the American consumer but also an obvious insult to American manufacturing companies that make superior products here, however few and far in-between they may be now. Your lumber and plumbing supplies are overpriced, relatively unavailable on a broad spectrum and disorganized and poorly managed by a relatively uneducated and inexperienced staff in these departments. Should we rename the company HOME DEEPLOW or HOMECREEPO....either way I dont see anything changing for the better in the near future. Sorry for the negative review but you asked, and I'm answering with honesty and matter of factness. I have been a loyal customer of Home Depot's since the first store opened and have spent millions of dollars in Home Depots over the years...... hope this matters, Dom

I recently purchased carpeting for my home. Theresa K. was extremely helpful. She went out of her way to get us the promos that we were entitled to and helped us choose a carpet that qualified. The store associates are AWESOME!! I had to purchase some wood to make shelves. They guided me through the entire process, went above and beyond to get me the best quality of what I needed, cut it to my dimensions, lifted heavy materials for me, and smiled through the entire process. Fantastic!

I shop this store on a regular basis and have always been happy with the service. I went there to purchase Fiberon deck boards, the shelf of 12 foot boards was empty. I asked Bruce in Lumber for assistance, he checked inventory and found that there were boards in stock but they were outside. He got help from another associate and they went outside, got the boards and loaded the shelf. This was above and beyond my expectations and truly appreciated. Associates like Bruce are the reason I continue to make HD my first choice, Well Done!

I have visited several Home Depots recently in Nassau and Suffolk County and this store is by far the most helpful. The shelves are neat and well stocked, there are staff people available to help and everyone is extremely friendly and responsive.

I have always had a great experience inside and outside of the store. They usually have most of everything I need and the contractors who deliver and install are top rate.

At the front order/ pickup , a young cashier that wears his cap backwards, was super helpful & patient. Didnt get his name.

The store was clean and Laura was so helpful in the window treatment area. The only thing I didn't like was the dog wearing a Halloween vest at the entrance in the garden area that I almost tripped on when leaving the store.

We needed shades and have not had any success at several stores. Mostly due to lack of assistance. Then we went to Home Depot and met with Laura Cronin. She was extremely busy but took the time to help us. And we didn’t feel rushed. Very pleasant and knowledgeable.

All the employees were helpful. The stare was very busy but i was able to get help in making my purchases in a reasonable amount of time. I was able to find all of the items I was looking for.
