    Rude Cashier
    Usually have good experience at this Home Depot. Cashier was the rudest I've ever dealt with at any Home Depot I've been to. Made me wait for her to finish a conversation with another employee, that wasn't about work. Wouldn't even look in my direction. When greeting her was completely ignored as she continued her conversation. Seemed aggravated that she had to check me out, seemed aggravated and gave me a nasty scowl when paying with cash, had to ask her twice for my receipt. Then had the nerve to ask me to fill out a survey to "help her out" all while not even looking in my direction.

      I enjoy this store as it is more convenient for me and the store is very organized. The Irish gentleman that works there is always very helpful and personable. He goes out of his way to assist everyone.

          Horrible Customer Service and Unknowledgeable Staff
          Yesterday, April 7th my husband and I had gone to Home Depot to speak with someone in the flooring department as we are needing to do some renovation’s on our condo we have just purchased. We spoke with a representative from the Kitchen Department as there was no one in the flooring department to inquire about getting a quote to re-do our floors. There were advertisements all over the flooring area to let us know Home Depot also did installations. Unfortunately, this gentleman was not able to help us as the computer was not working for him that day. He told us to come back tomorrow to speak with his colleague who was a flooring specialist. The next day, April 8th, I go back to the same Home Depot around 1:20pm to speak with the floor specialist. The individual is currently on break and I am told to wait. I wait for her to return and explain that I am looking to get a quote for how much it would cost to re-do the flooring of our condo - removing carpet and replacing with either vinyl, laminate, or hardwood flooring. As I have never done renovations before, I have clearly come to Home Depot to speak to someone with expertise in this area. In total, I spend over 30 minutes with the wait time and speaking with two individuals in the flooring department without any answers to my questions. They were not knowledgeable on any of the products and could not tell me the difference between Vinyl, Laminate, or Hardwood. We were in the process of scheduling someone to come measure the condo so I would be able to get a quote. However, I was told it would cost $50 to even get that. Why would I pay someone to get a quote to measure when the people in the store don’t even know the difference between products and cannot provide me a quote when I’ve given them estimated square footage measurements? They aren’t even able to provide a ballpark number? Then, I’m being told I need to come in a 3rd time to actually get a quote once the measurement is done. Completely ridiculous and a waste of time. Home Depot needs to hire individuals who are educated in their products and able to provide proper consultations. Otherwise, what are these people getting paid to do?

              don't waste your time
              I asked six different people where I could find a windshield brush, and was told five different location. No one knew where they were and no one was willing to help me look. Try over there, try over here. I left empty handed. This place is terrible. Don't waste your time.

                              Avanti 4 1/2" Turbo Blade
                              Went to HD Quincy Store after checking web site to ensure the 4 1/2" Diablo blades I wanted were in stock. Web site displayed them as in stock. They were not in stock. A check of all the empty holders showed they were not even displayed as none of the empty holders had a price or description for the "In stock" Diablo blades. I bought Avanti & they did the job. All in all this trip was a waste of time. Other items were not to be found. Employees were too busy with their conversations to help. The one employee I was able to corral told me I must have looked at a different store's web site. When I showed him the screen shots of the items listed as in stock at his store. He got defensive and did nothing to try and locate items. HD is on a downward spiral!

                                Rude staff
                                Staff very rude - I was in the paint isle, it was open not barricaded, I was picking out a stain, a staff member started to block off the isle, they didn't say anything to me as to ask me how long I would be or can we help you instead they started moving pallets on the other isle beside me, all of sudden someone yelled at me that I couldn't be standing in this isle, I was in the isle before the gates went up. I don't appreciate being yelled at and this store committed a serious OSHA violation!

                                  Bad bad bad
                                  I was today at this store, not one of the agents/workers greeted , no show for 15 min waiting for help at Hardware aisle, customer service agent was unfriendly and basically askedme to do his job when I needed answers. Not visiting again.

                                    BEWARE - HD not in stock switcheroo!
                                    This is an accurate & frustrating account of my experience at HD. If it reads as negative. That's an opportunity for HD to do better. Bought a product that was clearly priced, advertised & displayed. Had to get employee to unlock item. Employee walked item to cashier & handed it off to cashier without allowing me to check it out. My bad I trusted HD. I was sold a different older model. Clearly deceptive advertising and practices! Now I lose time and money returning "switcheroo" model only to be told advertised & displayed model is not in stock.

                                      Elisa Fernandes & RJ was incredibly knowledgeable!! They definitely knew their stuff! They are an asset to the company. The store manager Deja was awesome!! She had a great attitude.

                                          The other day I was in the store and my card wasn’t working and I had some cash but I was short on all the tools that I needed so I had to put one back, but even after removing one from my cart, I still was $.20 short and I wasn’t sure what I was going to do but the gentleman running the self check out was extremely kind and reached into his own pocket to pull out a quarter for me without even asking he popped it right in the machine , i’m so grateful I didn’t want to leave without paying him back so I went back out to my friends car and borrow some money from him which I then used to purchase the last tool that I couldn’t get before and I gave the remaining change to the man who helped me and it was only a few dollars but I hope that maybe he can get a coffee or something and he was very grateful that I came back to pay him back , it was a rare case, and it was handled with the customers being first this man deserves a raise. I wish I remember his name.

                                            My favorite Home Depot location
                                            This HD is always well stocked and neat and tidy so it is easy to find what you need. There are no cashiers so you have to cash out yourself but a very helpful gentleman helped all of us get through the process. This HD is such a better experience than the Somerville or Everett one which is always out of stock of what I need. I will shop here again.

                                                            The clerk that helped me went above and beyond to help me. He stated that he liked working for Home Depot and praised the store. He has worked there for 1 1/2 years. He knew his store and gave me information that i needed to know, helped me and made it easy for me to purchased this transaction 10 bags of mulch that I worried how i would get it in my car. I asked others and they said someone would do it when I asked him he said I will do it. I so wish I remembered his name but I don't. It think it was Trent
