Nice store to go to

This is a rather difficult review to write because I had interactions with two different employees -- one was not helpful at all, actually dismissive of my needs and the other spent the time with me to try and help solve my problem. I did not get the name of the unhelpful employee but he worked in the kitchen cabinet area. I was told to go there to find out about a particular hinge I needed. I asked him to help me and he begrudgingly walked over to the hinges in the hardware aisle. Once there he took a cursory look at the hinge and said Home Depot couldn't help and suggested I go to a local cabinet shop. ( I was very surprised at his attitude). As I was leaving the aisle without the items I needed I ran across a new employee and his name is Garrison. He asked me if I was finding what I needed and I told him about the hinge and how I couldn't find a suitable replacement. He looked at my hinge and said he had helped a lady a few days prior with the same type of hinge. He said he didn't think the store had one in stock but suggested we look online because there is quite a large selection there. (please note the first employee made no mention of the HD web site). I could see there indeed was a very large selection online and as a stopgap bought a hinge in the store that might work until I could find the proper replacement. Garrison in my mind went above and beyond to help me. He did not "blow me off" because the item was not stocked. He was friendly, courteous, and willing to take the time necessary to help me solve my problem. I wish I got the name of the other employee because I feel he could use a "Dale Carnegie" refresher course. The contrast between the two employees was truly stark. Due to Garrison, rather than walking out of the store irked and frustrated, I left with hope that I still might solve my hinge issue. Had I not seen Garrison I most likely would have gone to another retailer or simply not returned to the HD store.

My cashier Katherine was very kind and friendly. The 2 gentleman that assisted me with my new grill were very professional and kind as well. Thank you!

This store is well maintained with a very pleasant staff who are very helpful and knowledgable.

The store's employees do they very best to keep a smile in faces and what is really awesome many remember you name , they see and talk to so many customers, and if items are not on shelves they will make sure to see if they have items in stock for example: even if you need 1- 45 degree pvc elbow.. it brings me back to my teenage days when getting gas at a station attendees will ask will you like motor oil check and squeegee your front windshield.

If you need customer service at all, please find a different store. This is the worst home improvement store I have ever visited. On just this visit my need was for plywood. Every one of the customer carts were loaded with store stock that needed to be put away. I had to drag my plywood from the back of the store. No employee ever offered any assistance. I am 65 years old and clearly could use some help. Not that there were no employees, there were more than one employee in every single isle. Find a different store if you need any assistance at all!

This place is old school retail. Customers are served. Something lost in other places. Offers of help were followed thru on. The employees were knowledgeable, patient, and courteous. I recommend all to shop for home care needs.

The store is always clean but they have a problem keeping the wood stocked I would say that 3 out of 5 times I go there I need to get someone to get some wood down and it takes a while to do this

Well stocked store and courteous knowledgeable associates to help answer my questions or direct me to the appropriate isle.

Vince in Appliances is absolutely awful. He is rude, lazy and condescending. He is toxic and I could tell by the look on his coworkers face that this is how he is. He delivered an awful customer experience. The Store Manager was kind, but you should not buy appliances at this store.

My go to store for over 30 years. Needed to drill a 5/16 hole in glass and you had what I needed. A circular diamond drill bit and only $20 bucks! You nailed it!!!

My husband and I just purchased a new home. We went to Home Depot with all kinds of questions about lighting and redoing our bathrooms. We received so much help from that employee, she was amazing and patient, as we had a lot of questions.

Excellent customer service by ASM Mike. He went out of his his to help me out to find an item that was back in receiving. I will definitely be coming back to this location because of my experience today.

Good shopping experience for our remodeling needs. All the staff seems to be knowledgeable in their departments.

Cashier Nancy was extremely rude and offensive all over an item ringing up the wrong price. It is somehow my fault (the customer) that the employees are stocking the shelves incorrectly. She needs a position away from all customers.

This store is not only convenient but the best Home Depot that i have visited. I am a hobbyist and do some repairs in my home. I am disabled and visually impaired but every time I visit this particular store I find the personnel very helpful and friendly, other stores do not seem to have the time of day or the lack of personnel to help.

Generally this store is great to shop at. My last visit was very disappointing! I had trouble getting someone to help me even after I asked at the customer service desk. And when I went thru self check out the cashier accused me of not scanning the first item I had scanned and had to check even after I told her I had scanned it! It was not even a $12 item to treat a 69 year old like a thief!

Great place for quick pickup of pool supplies! In case you didnt know they carry filters, etc...

Employees are always helpful and knowledgeful. This store has been my go to since 2000, never a complaint!

Horrible Customer service, After 3 pm store shuts down all registers and forces customers to do self checkout.

No matter what time of day I go, the employees are very friendly and eager to help. I really enjoy buying here. The products that I've needed are always there, and the store is always very clean.
