On Tuesday 6/2/20 at approx. 5:30pm I went to the Pomona Home Depot. They were busy, but nothing out of the ordinary. When I went to check out & pay Oscar was standing near the self checkout lines directing customers as to which self check out lane was currently open. At this time the line of customers was all the way down the aisle. I noticed plenty of other check out stations but no employees there to expedite the line, and assist. When I kindly asked Oscar if they could open any further check out lanes, he casually shrugged me off, and told me to go to the pro-desk. When I arrived at the pro-desk to check out the line was equally long with only one employee working while two others were chatting amongst themselves. I waited quietly, checked out, and went back to Oscar to let him know of the situation. I then returned to let Oscar know of the situation at the pro-desk. However when I got back to Oscar, I noticed that two additional checkout lines had been opened. I started by thanking Oscar for opening the additional lanes, but then proceeded to let him know that there are employees over at the pro-desk just casually chatting while there was a line of customers waiting to check out, backing up into yet another aisle. At this time Oscar began yelling at me, asking me "if I was serious"? I stated that I was, and then asked if I could speak to a manager since, I as a regular paying customer feel that when there are approx. 20-30 customers waiting to check out, there probably shouldn't be employees standing around ignoring them. At this time Oscar continued screaming at me that he was going to call the cops on me. I asked him why and he stated that I was "harassing him". I calmly told Oscar I was not harassing him and that I only wanted to speak with a manager now because of his wildly inappropriate response. At this time Oscar walked to a phone and dialed 911. Funny enough, while Oscar was dialing 911, another customer approached me and stated that he too had asked Oscar for assistance, but had been ignored, and rudely told to leave. At this time Oscar came back to me and attempted to physically intimidate me by a getting very close to my face and yelling about calling the police and how they will come and kick me out since Home Depot is private property. At this point I left, and for good. This type of customer service is 100% unacceptable. There is no reason that any calm & reasonable customer should ever be spoken to like this. Oscar's behaviors and actions are shameful, and without a doubt lead customers to spend their hard earned money elsewhere. Home Depot needs to and can do better than this. Friendly helpful employees are always available to answer questions and assist with finding the right products for my projects. Even new hires, like Chris in garden, are eager to delve into learning new products and assisting with getting everything needed for a successful shopping experience. Great Job!!!

If I can give 0 starts, I will. I am really really dissapointed of your False Advertisment. I am just a typical Father of 3 & looking for affordable Shed; I was deceived because no one explained to me what shingles are (As a regular person, all I know that the top portion of a shed is called roof, not shingles). Instead of saving, I ended up spending thrice of my budget. When buying a shed, I heavily relied on your staff to thoroughly explain what I am buying & what I am missing. They ONLY told me to buy a floor and therefore I believed that it came with the roof since they did not mention it. I am strongly upset by the fact that they assumed that I know what I am buying, I only relied on the display of the shed and it is your job to fill me in the rest of the details. I want you to realize that I am not just buying a regular item, but I am purchasing a huge amount of investment that costs thousands. For me, I felt like I was mislead & I am better off returning the shed if I can. Furthermore, I just wish that your sales associates are trained to provide excellent customer service because clearly what I got was unacceptable customer service. I am very upset & I will spread this bad experience to everyone.

Store was clean, staff very informative and helpful. I was never left confused and they provided clear instructions on my projects.

If you want service and assistance and a shopping experience, visit this store. I have been in others where you can't find but a couple folks on the floor, and they are usually busy. This store was not only adequately staffed, but I was told to have a great day by one of the employees as I was headed out of the self-service area! I actually stopped and thanked the young lady - as it was genuine, and not one of these "make sure you say hi to someone who comes in" greetings. I found the products quickly, they checked inventory for me when I first walked in so I didn't waste time looking for a filter which few have (they had 20 in stock). Clean, easy to get around - but the real deal here was enough staff and attitude.

I experienced a long wait at checkout, then was told that I had to go to a different line, because I wanted to pay in cash. the PRO checkout line was for PHONE ORDERS ONLY. What the heck? Since when does Home Depot not except CASH? When I insisted that she contact a manager, she finally took my cash, but was extremely RUDE. I have spend thousands of dollars at this store. It will be a cold day before I return to this store.

Lucia is a phenomenal employee. She was able to put me first after a rude customer tried to rush her as though my situation was not as important. Lucia remained persistent and reassured me that my car key would be made it just takes several tries. Honestly, I began to doubt the process and told her "it's okay if the machine doesn't work. I can try another place". Directly after making the comment, the key was made. I was very enlightened to see such dedication and commitment to helping every customer. Thank you for all your hard work Lucia. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to have met you and receive your excellent services.

Worst racist experience ever by a store staff! I was passing through a narrow space between an aisle and a cart and this Home Depot staff tried to block me on the other side at the end. I asked him what his issue was and he responds rudely saying he does not want to speak to me. Home Depot was a favorite store for me and my kids for over 23 years,. I am absolutely not going back to at least this store in Pomona!

The store was well organized and employees were always nearby in case of assistance. Gardening employees, especially Priscilla knew what they were talking about and they were really helpful.

This store is dirty and the associates are hard to find and are lazy .Customer service is key when entering a retail store this store lacks it completely. Shop at your own risk.

The store was organized and I loved how the check out was easy and fast. I never say it enough to any employee but this cashier Cecilia was exceptional. Went out of her way to help me and I’m very grateful for that

We came to HD because we started home renovations. Started and the San Dimas location but they were not helpful. Then came to the Pomona location to hope for better help/service and we found it. Noemi the Asst. Manager helped us in every way possible and we appreciate it so much! Definitely shopping at this location from now on

I've been working at a job called El fuerte in Carlsbad,for months if it wasn't for Darlene at the time she was hurting at the pro desk she helped me with so many orders phone orders phone sales I just want to let the management know without her and her help I would have never got my job done she's the best

It has been numerous years since I have been a customer of Home Deport. I have made several contact with, "Kristen, Jennifer, & Binh". Employees have always displayed extraordinary professionalism and outstanding customer service. Please provide them with the highest recognition. "Kristen, Jennifer, & Binh," have gone "Above and Beyond," their call of duty to exceed the expectations of the customers and management.
