There’re great people at this locations but there’re some laddies that they make you fell so uncomfortable while shopping. Construction is my job and shopping at a store where you don’t feel Comfortable isn’t nice. I am filling a complaint with Corporate

Went to get four sheetrock and ask for assistance to cut them in half, no problem, no question asked took out his blade and the job was done. Great job, didn't get the the young man name, thank you.

The staff at this store outperforms all others in my area. They are almost always friendly and attentive even with tough questions. We are rebuilding our 40 year old home while living in it, so we are utilizing every single department in the store all the time. If I had to rely solely on any or all of the other stores I use around us, I know this would be more difficult, because the folks at Plaistow set a very high bar. Major complaint is something they have no control over: the quality and condition of the lumber they are supplied with. This still needs work, HD. My personal cull rate still averages 80% or more. That's a lot of wood to reject before I find acceptable framing materials for my home. We've spent almost 9K this year alone, so I know what I'm talking about.

I went in today with my 2 year old daughter to get a key made and purchase graphite lubricant. I walked right to the key kiosk where there was a sign that said ask for assistance. No one was around except for the self check out cashier. I ask him if he could get someone and he came over to help me but left his registers and customers unattended. I asked him if he knew where the liquid graphite was and he took out his phone. I thought he was looking it up and he was texting while making my key. Then he handed it back to me and went to his registers. Never even acknowledging my question. I looked around myself and didn't see it. I walked all the way to l to lumber before I found another associate. He told me to go up front. So we walked back and saw an associate in electrical. She told me that it is around where the keys are. I told her I was there and didn't see it. She said well that's where it is and walked away down the aisle. So that is 3 people I spoke to all of which made no effort to assist me. I eventually found it on my own, I would hate to think how I would have been treated if I actually needed some real help. You are there to assist customers, if they ask for help make an effort to atleast appear to want to help. Without them it doesn't matter how many returns you have to put away, or reprices you have to do, or how much downstocking your department needs. Your job depends on them!

The associate was polite and helpful in the appliance area. I would like to see more cooktops and also wall mount ovens. I already did my homework on the appliances I wanted to purchase so the transaction went smoothly.

I went to this store to purchase a part required to install a new toilet I also purchased from here, but did not know what piece to purchase since none seem to fit in, asked Owen from the store for help, he went above and beyond understanding the problem and offering multiple solutions until I found the right part, saving me time and money. My husband prefer Home Depot to other stores. I too have often shopped there, but mainly it WAS his preference. The do however carry a few brands that I prefer and aside from the fact he gets a military vet discount we find the also tend to beat other stores many time in things we have recently needed to purchase in the last 6+ months, this particular store has met our needs in more ways than one.

I’m always treated with respect. I drive from mass to Plaistow for many reasons and I know the employees are great. I will continue to go to #3487 Plaistow! If you go to Plaistow make sure you run into Amanda! She will help you any way she can. Thanks a ton Plaistow!
