This morning I had great experiences with two store associates at Home Depot at Riverview in Mesa. An older gentleman named Dave not only went the extra mile to look an item up on a computer to see if the store carried it, he walked me to it! And that was after asking two other associates the same question...hmmm... The cashier I had, Kirran, was an absolute gem as well!! I LOVE great customer service!!! I remember their names because of the great customer service they provided. The other two who didn't, I couldn't tell you who they were. They were unremarkable.

The managers Curtis, Ben & Scott are committed engaging and positive! Associates are courteous and professional.

Cici in the garden department was a joy to work with, she went above and beyond to help us.

Great customer service. Nicolette provided great customer service. I was fortunate to find the last tool bag . Unfortunately it didn’t have a price tag. She quickly knew what to do to fix the issue. I was able to purchase the tool bag I wanted and every other tool that I needed. Thanks again !!

Robert, one of the store's managers gave me one of (if not) THE WORST experiences I've ever had. I used to hate Home Depot but with Covid I've been taking time for some much needed remodels. I've been coming to home depot almost weekly gathering things for my remodel. I went to a home depot at country club/60 and mistakenly got the wrong paint. With this location being close to my house I called to ask if I could return paint even if it was from a different location. The lady I talked to on the phone sounded very bubbly and assured me I could return my unopened paint. When I went to check out Maiya helped me and was super sweet trying to help make my return as easy as possible. She realized the paint was from a different store and had to call to a manager for approval. Robert was called over and sounded doubtful I'd even called the right store and actually spoke to someone because I couldn't name who I spoke to (who actually remembers that anyway??). I even showed him my recent call list and he still refused to take the paint because he was worrying about having to mark down the price of the paint if he accepted it. I told Robert he should take responsibility for his employees that told me it was okay to return paint here and he refused. I can't believe how unprofessional he was and I NEVER want to come back to this home depot. I feel bad for employees like Maiya who have to work with such poor managers.

Cashiers always very friendly

ike clockwork, I always have one, several or all of the following problems with my visit to Home Depot. First, since it’s a do-it-yourself warehouse I understand that most of us will go in and find what we are looking for. However one or both problems almost always arise, and this trip was no exception. First you are out of stock too high of a percentage of the time. Completely unacceptable! Second, most of us will try and turn to find some help to either discover if the store has any really, or ask a person if they have an alternative to the out of stock. Almost never is there someone available and if there is, they are woefully lacking in any real knowledge(think plumbing, electrical, even garden). Again completely unacceptable! Lastly after all of the above I get to go up and stand in line to check out. Now realize, I know I’m not the only person in the world and lines are inevitable in society, but it’s your job to provide customer service to your customers. It seems to me that standing in line to check myself out at the almost 100% self check front end is just a slap to all customers. I understand that some people prefer that experience, but these days I’m all but forced to that option. Fix it!

Jae is the sweetest and most helpful employee we've encountered! If she cant help us she finds someone who can! Always a joy to see her, so much that we wait til were near her store to shop! We will continue to shop at this store simply cause of her customer service!

I bought a Milwaukee 4 1/2" Grinder that I am very pleased with. Then I found that the store does not stock the cutoff and grinding wheels with a 5/8" arbor that the tool requires. I had no trouble finding what I needed elsewhere.

The people that work there are extremely nice and knowledgeable about the store products and services. I recommend this store for not only home repairs but car repairs also.

Absolutely zero respect for customers

The customer service at this store gives all of Home Depot a bad name. Even though this store is a mile from my house and 3 1/2 miles from my rentals, I will drive to another store as the Mesa Riverview store su@kx that bad.

Home Depot customer service is always on the mark. Employees alway have good product knowledge and know what shelf you can find what your looking for. Top notch service.

Absolutely, the first time I've shopped at this OR any other Home Depot where I received assistance in every dept. It was a pleasant experience to purchase every item I needed. All the employees were pleasant, courteous and brought me to the area for items I needed. In one dept I appreciated & accepted an employee's suggestion for items needed for my project.

Suzanne and Cynthia went above and beyond expectations when handling my return/exchange for a tool kit. Absolutely superb customer service. 5 out of 5 stars

This store always has someone at the door to answer your questions or direct you to where you need to go. Seems there are more employees around to help you and they are so cheerful! I love their garden area indoors and outdoors because it is so well organized. Cashiers are so cheerful and friendly. Great place!

If you need to find something in the store...Ask Jeanette in the front of the store. She will tell you isle, side of the row, and how far down in 2 seconds. She always helps me out. Thanks Jeanette!

Good store. I'm here a lot. Occasionally have trouble getting help late in the evening, but for the most part, I'm always happy with the service I get here. Today however, a female employee in the tool rental section started a gas engine and let it run a while while the adjoining concrete dept filled with choking fumes. What was she thinking? Other Home Depot employees walked by holding their noses but said or did nothing about it. What were THEY thinking?

The store was clean and the associates are always friendly, professional and willing to help. I always find what I need when I go to that store.

I come to this HD at least weekly, and often several times a week. Overall, the employee service is very good. At times, it does take a while to get help, but the knowledge is very good. This location is not convenient, but 'My store'...
