There is a breakdown of basic customer service in this location. I've had an employee tell me she doesn't unload my brick pavers, ive had an employee tell me that I needed to wait on an employee to get off of break, ive hunted employees for assistance and ive been told by an employee that I needed to go find someone else to answer my question. This is the very reason I don't shop at the "Blue Store"! The simplest solution; train an employee to say; "I am unable to answer your question but let me find someone that can help you." I shop at Home Depot because there is a very select few employees that are willing to help, they are usually tenured, older employees that are willing to go beyond customer service, that enjoy building a rapport with you. Also, Home Depot could provide extra staff during peak hours (weekends).

Could use a bigger square footage store for a broader selection of products as compared to Lowe’s. A great idea that could be a big help especially for contractors like myself would be the program like target has where the customer can get a scanner and go select products maybe for house warming to Christmas or even to bid jobs with.

This older short lady went above and beyond the call of duty.She made sure that if I could not find what I wanted in the store that a young man would show me how to order it online..I always enjoy my shopping there.

Friendly staff, clean store, have what I need most of the time

I found exactly what I needed and in the discount area. Employees helped to ensure that I received the best price that store policy and management latitude could provide. Then, an employee in the Garden section saw me from around 100 yards away while I was loading the 2 fence panels - I had an old injury and was struggling. She sent 2 other employees to aid m. They polictely refused tips, but the teamwork, the customer service, was outstanding. I have come to expect this level of service at Lufkin Store #0513. The store is consistently clean, well-stocked, and the employees are friendly and helpful. The teamwork and effective communication on display spoke volumes about a positive managemnent atmosphere.

I had to contact a manager about a return. Hw went out of his way to take care of my problem. Everything was taken care of in a short period of time. Great experiemce!

Store is clean (bathrooms get 3 stars) and had the pleasure of checking out with a very friendly cashier today.

Terry Jones at the paint desk was very friendly and helped me find the correct color I needed from a 2007 paint ticket.converted it over to new computer very happy here

Great place to shop, always find awesome products to improve my home. Also products to create a great environment for family gatherings on my lawn and back yard.

I ordered a product online for in-store pickup and assembly. I received a notification that my order was ready for pickup and I had a specific timeframe to pick the order up. When I arranged for someone to pick the order up, it was unassembled. The person was asked to put the product together themselves. After refusing to self-assemble the product, we waited the next day. The product was still waiting at customer service, unassembled. I called the store and asked for an explanation, I was told that there was no way of giving me a timeframe of when it would be completed. They would just give me a call. This was a same day order pickup. The level of unprofessionalism is shocking. I always shop at Home Depot because I’m a card holder, but this is enough to make me ship elsewhere.

I was very please with service I received when visiting the Lufkin store, I purchased a large Appliance the sales person was very helpful and knowledgeable about the refrigerator. Gave me a good explanation of what was needed for the install and made sure that the sales price was applied to the purchase. The store is clean and well stocked when I have visited it.

Have shopped this store many times and the employee or very Friendly and eager to help. We have shopped all departments and where always able to have all questions answered.

This is my regular Home Depot and I visit at least once per week. Even if I don't need anything in particular, it's a great place to shop and consider ideas or make plans. The staff members are consistently helpful and friendly, even now under the stresses of cov-idiocy. I get the impression from most of them that it is a genuine pleasure to show up for work. That and the immaculate condition of the physical plant put this Home Depot over the top.

Customer service on the date of our visit was outstanding. My husband and I are both in our sixties and truly appreciated both young men who came to us and offered assistance. We had not particularly looked for anyone to help as we only planned to get a couple of 4x4 posts and a few 2x6 and 2x4 boards and figured we could handle it ourselves so it was a pleasant experience to have the assistance offered in both areas loading prior to purchase and then loading into our truck afterwards. I wish I had gotten the names of the young men who assisted us so that I could let them know how much it was appreciated.

We live in Nacogdoches county but feel its worth the drive to receive excellent service and to be relieved to always find the items needed for our home projects! We also appreciate seeing new items as well as products we have used years ago, and always going back to use great products again! We appreciate great service with a smile so, we prefer to shop home depot over other building material stores! Sore is always neat, and we always find the items we need, so we thank you all!!

I love this store, it is my favorite place. All the staff are so friendly and helpful every time I visit. I am always able to find what I am looking for and staff is there to help me if I have any questions. The store always is clean and tidy.

Not willing to work with customers when miscommunication from employees puts the customer at a disadvantage. An employee by the name of Angela was rude and condescending to both my husband and I. All we wanted was for Home Depot to make it right with the customer. This was our last straw with Home Depot customer service. We will be taking our business elsewhere from now on.

When attempting to find a product for our home we encountered an issue. We had to search for any assistance and when we did instead of being helpful they made the situation worse. Did not have products we wanted Help was almost impossible to find Associates acted like customers were bothering them.

A employee name Henry was major help into what I was needing, he was very kind and helpful and the store needs more people like him! If your ever needing help just look for Henry he will make you feel important!
