Best HD in the area!

ALTHOUGH THIS STORE IS SMALLER THAN SOME, IT IS MORE CONVENIENT FOR ME TO SHOP AND THE EMPLOYEES GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO GIVE US GOOD SERVICE. HEATHER IS HE MOST RECENT ONE TO GIVE US WONDERFUL PERSONAL SERVICE.

This is a great Home Depot. The customer service is above and beyond! Keep up the good work associates.

Store #. 1550 LAKEWOOD, Frank provided me assistance in the carpet/rug area and went the "extra yard" in assassinating me with knowledge on the carpet and material needed. What I notice he took the extra time in explaining his expertise. Monica help me at the register, because I am old and I could not figure how to work the computor. Frank and Monica "ROCK ON"............

People are helpful and kind

This store is easy to do business with. Prices are very competitive, the staff is mostly very helpful, the Pro desk has knowledgeable people there. If I ever need to make a return, it's a breeze. I've spent $20,000 here in 2020, and I'm grateful to have a store like this nearby, and feeling like they're on my side.

I prefer shopping at this Home Depot store because they stock what I need, great customer service & it’s easy to get around. The store was not cluttered & employees were attentive.

The store was clean. There were plenty of shopping carts available. The associates had on masks and practiced the guidelines of social distancing. The aisles are generally wide enough to get through. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially Joyce Smith.

This store has friendly employees. I felt welcomed by every employee. The paint department is the best. I'll always shop at this Home Depot #1550 Lakewood. I solute Jeff in the paint department for going up and above to get the best color of the paint for my room. I now call the color - Jeff.

The store is clean and well lighted, I can normally find what I need, although occasionally not, but I can plainly how very busy you are and the huge demand for home improvement and garden and yard improvement materials.

ON LINE ORDER, THEY PULLED THE WRONG ITEM, THE INVENTORY SAID THE CORRECT ITEM WAS IN STOCK, EMPLOYEE TOLD ME TO GO FIND IT WHEN I POINTED OUT THE ITEM THEY PULLED WAS WRONG. THE RACK LOOKED LIKE IT HADN'T BEEN STRAIGHTENED IN WEEKS. THE CORRECT ITEM WAS NOT IN STOCK, EVEN THOUGH THE INVENTORY SAID THERE WERE 5. EMPLOYEE DIDN'T SEEM TO CARE.

I waited for 30 minutes for help in Lumber. 2 separate associates paged overhead for someone to come help me in that time. After waiting and nobody still coming after 5 more minutes, I left empty handed. Their staffing is lacking.

We are building a 3 season porch and needed windows and a french slider door. On a tight budget. Jeff in Millworks Dept was extremely knowledgable, helping me find exactly what I needed and within budget.

David and George in the rental area are wonderful! They were patient and went above and beyond, taking time to teach along the way. Thank you both! Everyone I encountered, even a patron in the parking lot, was very helpful.

The clerk in paint, CW, was super friendly and super helpful. Definitely one of my better experiences in a HD. The Garden center was kind to empty but I assume that’s because I went on a Monday after a very busy weekend mid-May. One thing I think they could approve upon is the parking lot there, it’s always a madhouse and have carts for use more readily available.

On May 12, 2020 at about 1:30 pm there was a male customer (probably 35 yrs 180 lbs 5'6" partly hispanic heavy set) who let out 3 huge sneezes without making any effort to cover his face and he didn't even have a mask. He was walking south in front of pIumbing and went to the checkout. I yelled at him but I don't think he heard me. I said "you're supposed to cover your sneeze! and wear a mask!" I don't think Home Depot should let people in without a mask. The poor employees have to wear one their whole shift why can't the customers wear them for the short time they are in the store? Very inconsiderate and probably even dangerous!

Overall the store is very well stocked and always helpful associates. The manager John Martinez in Customer service is a top notch employee who will do what it takes to fix any issues even during the busiest times. His team is great with handling any problems I had when dealing with power tool purchases and exchanges

Home Depots can be hit-or-miss and even a good Home Depot can be excellent one day and disappointing the next. This store has been consistently great. They have always been helpful and that means a lot to this single widow who now has to tackle some home projects herself.

Great store. Well stocked. I needed a specific product during the Corona Virus issue. I was able to look online, locate the product and the area it would be at within the store. I was in and out in no time. I appreciate the store being open, and staffed with friendly associates. Dan

The employee that got the dryer was very good, the checker was sweet and helpful..The return process for a VERY damaged product was disappointingly defeating! I was treated like I was a bother and I should be happy with the 10% they had taken off which was not the case, the dryer was on sale and rung up full price and they adjusted the receipt to match the advertised price.I finally ended up just returning the dryer seeing no customer service in sight!

The store itself is always clean and well stocked. The people at the pro desk are exceptional and always are there to help. There are Home Depots that don't always have the best help, but this is NOT one of those.

This store is not far from me and had exactly what I needed.
