I always (99.9% of the time) have a good experience shopping at this HD but Josette in flooring took purchasing / ordering carpet to a new level. She had our carpet measurement scheduled and completed the process in record time. Wife and I had planned on spending half the day shopping for carpet but Josette took care of that and now I can check the carpet off my Honey-Do list !

Was going to spend $1,200 on 4/05/2021 at 5:45pm on appliances and bathroom surround. No one around to help and 3 other consumers trying to find someone to sell them an appliance too.

Store had too many items in the hallways you can walk by very comfortable workers block hallways for shoppers Very unpleasant

In the BC hours there is none enough cashiers this is a problem took to long to check out a time other than the customer service good

Products were exactly where the app said.

The employees are top notch.

I used the self checkout and needed assistance to get the Military Discount. Gladys was the cashier in that area and she not only enter the discount, but assisted me in the checkout and I was rung up in no time. Good people make this store shine!

By far the best Home Depot store I’ve ever visited. Be sure to ask for Robert if you have a flooring, tile, or appliance question. Not only is he personable he genuinely knows his craft and doesn’t mind sharing his time and knowledge!!

It's good location they always have all products that I need.

Maybe it's just Me, but this is one of the most peaceful places to shop for all of my Job site supplies and materials. It's about 5 miles out of my way, but the calm and peacefulness while shopping at this store is 'Priceless' After 6pm is Prime Time for Peace and Calm at the Hammond Home Depot.

I've been purchasing from the Home Depot for many years (my hometown of Hickory Hills, IL/Bridgeview store and my new store in Hammond, IN). My most recent purchases included a Samsung refrigerator, a Westinghouse stove/oven, washing machine, dryer, back door, lawn mower, yard tools, and all of my household cleaning needs. The store is very well organized and the staff is friendly, professional, and even if it's NOT their department, they will take you to the item you're looking for. I'm now purchasing a walk-in tub and am anxious for the remodelers to start the project!

I had a very nice respectful young man name Jarrod to help me put something in my car that was to heavy for me. He said thank you for shopping home depot he cared about his job and company.

I love shopping at Homedepot for their great selection on flowers. The store is clean and great customer service. The associates are always friendly.

When I entered the store I couldn’t find what I need. Soo I was kinda frustrated, Until jose from flooring asked if I need help I was being rude to him but his smile and his confidence about the products I asked about changed my day and my shopping experience at Home Depot. I’ve been to other Home Depot and you don’t get that kind of customer service. They usually tell you what aisle the product is in.

This is a great place to shop that carries it all. I have always had good luck with getting knowledgeable assistance in most any department, however on occasion sometimes help is hard to find. Also if your a VETERAN spend your money here (Schererville too) as Home Depot not only offers a Military Discount but they also help Vet's though organizations like DAV Chapter 17 in Hammond. They are truly a Vet's friend !
