There is an esprit de corps at the Glenview store that you do not find at any other Chicago Home Depot location. Check it out for yourself!

I bought two interior doors and hardware to complete a project in the basement. Checkout staff, Pilee, was very helpful and efficient to scan the doors. They needed to be lifted up to find scan area. Then asked if I needed help loading the doors into my vehicle. This was much appreciated. I highly recommend Home Depot for all construction and other needs in the house.

They sold me an obviously used chainsaw. Got home and unboxed it and it was covered in sawdust and wood chips and had been filled with oil and gas. Then the store I returned it to (Deerfield) treated me like a criminal. Went to Ace and bought a Stihl instead.

The product was what we were looking for.

Cyndi in flooring was excellent.

These ladies went above and beyond they really changed my outlook on Home Depot. I will definitely be back to the Grandview store.

I recently moved to the area and have been to Home Depot a number of times. I'm a new home owner and therefore new to working on a multitude of home projects. I so appreciate the employees who have taken the time to help me - in particular Kevin and Chuck. They have directed me to the right supplies and answered all my questions. There is also a guy in the light department who was also extremely helpful - I'm sorry I forgot your name but your advice worked out perfectly.

Alex C and the gentleman that help me in Lightbulbs were the most helpful and interested two employees I ever encountered as a business owner I would hope my employees interact with my customers the way Alex C and the other gentle man did.

Good suggestions for primer paint to hide walls and better quality for ceilings.

If you are contacting them to have someone go to your home, make sure they actually provide the service before you pay a fee. I made an appointment for someone to come measure for a sliding screen door. I told them in detail what i needed. They took a 40.00 fee from me. Then sent someone out who told me they dont do this and now no one will refund me for a fee i paid for something they do not even provide.

I had 2 different employees help me today and both of them knew what they were doing and were nice about helping me. AND I bought paint and had my walker fixed while I shopped for flowers I had a really good experience at this location on Memorial Day.

This Home Depot must be exceptionally well managed. Every time I go, the staff here goes out of their way to offer help and make me glad I went to Home Depot. So cool to see a "big box" store behave like a small, very personal shop. (Also love their app, it's a great way for me to find what I need)
