The major difference between the competitor store right next door to The Home Depot in Edwardsville, Illinois, is that you can spend 1/2 the time looking for things you need at The Home Depot. The staff know what Aisle to look in and actually brag on fellow workers who have spent years there and know where every single item is. The staff are friendly, smart, and really care about you.

Employees are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I am very impressed with employees' willingness to assist customers in locating items as well as helping with checkout when needed. The store is clean, well stocked, and truly has exceptional people working to keep customers satisfied! (Keil/Kyle is awesome as well as Van!)

The store is near my house & I am a widow so I have lots of questions but all the employees have the right answers for me. It is a clean store, fully stocked with friendly, helpful employees who seek to assist you. There is always someone eager to answer my questions.

No in-stock appliances is the only detracting factor to this store! Outstanding staff here as well. Very knowledgable folks working in electrical, plumbing and in the kitchen areas.

We always like shopping at the Edwardsville Home Depot. Product are always easy to find and if help is needed there is always a friendly associate available to help us. The associates in the door/window department were great and took plenty of time to explain our options.

Was trying to purchase a suite of appliances advertised right in the store. The price posted was $2,987. After repeated attempts to explain to the team and the department manager that the price that I was asked to pay was wrong, as well as having to prove by a picture on my phone that I took of the display what the actual price was shown. Was even told that they would have to honor this price. It was posted very prominently with a display. I really do wonder who else has been "overcharged" by over $200 to $300 dollars for this. Then when we wanted to purchase a washer and dryer at the same time we were not "allowed" because it was giving us false savings and we had to do the orders independently. Plus, we ended up being charged and extra 10% because the "system" did not do what it was supposed to do. Our associate was Tammy and she did what she could considering how problematic the software system was, clearly she was as frustrated as we were and wanted the whole situation to be resolved. However, the "department supervisor" Darrell did nothing but treat us like we were creating problems. Darrel helped out as well but at the end was just as aggravated with us because I had to point out at least five times the price listed on the display in the department. Bottom line when we started we were being asked to pay $6,100 on a set of appliances that should have cost us $5,500. After THREE HOURS we were finally able to get a "do you agree on this price" and "we will have to honor the price on our display" plus a whole lot of attitude that we truly didn't deserve because I think we were as patient as we could be.

Very friendly great sales person in appliances Kathy, says hi whenever we see her while going through store. I'm there very often throughout week.

I am the owner of a business and Home Depot have the best prices compared to other businesses. All the employees are very helpful.

Best counter and aisle people in the business...ask for assistance, they're great! As always, pick through lumber, they do top stacks with the off -grade to sell to the unknowing...when they should just wholesale it off.

Everyone is so friendly and eager to help us or find someone who can help we built 2 patios and we had a lot of help moving blocks sand and everyone asked for pictures to see how we did on everything we did
