After a long day at work especially when I’m long away from home. This store provided what I was looking for plus the employees are very helpful and professional. Keep up the great work. Had some questions regarding my credit card and also needed someone to come help me in the generator section. Liz was patient and took the time to help me out anyway she could. She also made sure someone came to help me as she was working at the register and could not leave to come to the section I needed help in. She was so kind and helpful that when it came time to check out I made sure I went to her register.

Store associates were very friendly and helpful. Apologetic if they felt the process was taking too long, but remained kind.

We got the wrong paint mixer, we needed 3/8 inch and were given the half inch in our pickup order. I do need to shout out Amanda at the service desk because when we got home and realized it was the wrong size she went above and beyond anything that I have seen in a VERY long time as far as customer service to fix the issue. What seems like a very small problem really was a very huge problem for us and Amanda showed all the empathy in the world and really let us know that Home Depot cares about its customers. Please make sure huge appreciation is shown for Amanda at the service desk in Bridgeport, West Virginia because she truly deserves it! I feel blessed that she was the one who got my call and truly made my day, week maybe even year. I train customer support agents for many different companies on a daily basis for an outsourcing company and can honestly say the hardest thing to teach is empathy and when you cross paths with someone who exudes it as does Amanda - as a company you need to show them great appreciation because we the customers and the whole world need more like her. Kudos to Amanda who should be Home Depot’s Employee of the Year! Thank you Home Depot for having such an outstanding person representing your brand and going the extra mile to make us want to come back!

We came here to get supplies for our new home we are moving into. I am used to city shopping and this is not it. The staff had nice smiles and the store was clean and well lit. You felt safe and able to get what you needed

Store was clean. People were friendly and helpful. I went in for a weed eater and because it was easy to find I had more time to get a few other things I needed. Most important was my doggy dog Sasha was able to shop with me. We'll definitely be back. So nice that pets are welcome and I didn't have to leave her in the car. Even though she has the air conditioner it means more to me and her to be together. Thanks for the great shopping experience!

The workers and the managers are amazing. They always look out for you. Asking you if you need help. Very nice store. Great service.

Everyone is friendly and really helpful

I have always liked this store until recently. I have made several major purchases in the last few months, spending thousands of dollars. My first few visits were fine and people were helpful. The last two times I’ve been there it has been extremely frustrating with the attitudes I encountered. Store associates did not help when asked and told me to look for it and figure it out myself. I was shocked!! My return was awful with the clerk being rude and condescending. No ‘thank you’ from her! I was told by the checkout clerk that there had been several thefts at the store recently. That is no reason to treat honest, good customers so rudely!! I will be doing most of my shopping at Lowe’s from now on. I have more major remodeling to do and will not give Home Depot my business unless I absolutely have to!

Always a pleasure to shop at this store I was thrilled when I moved here recently because previous house only had the other store nearby. Always fully staffed with friendly knowledgeable persons.

This was our third time to the store looking for the plastic containers which we purchased. When we checked on line it said there were 19 containers available but there was only one displayed so we couldn't find the others. The first store employee that helped us got the ladder and looked but couldn't find them so he said he would get the person in charge of that department to see if they could help us. We waited 20 minutes or more and no one showed up so my husband went over and talked to Johnathan and he was very apologetic for us having to wait but he would see what he could do and sure enough that young man found those containers on top on the next aisle over. He got Nick to help him get them down because he didn't want us to have to wait any longer than we had. He was so nice and so capable at his job and Nick was right there to pitch in to help. He even was concerned about us being there so long. Jonathan helped us put the containers on the cart and made sure we had everything we needed before he left us. Also, both of them took all the precautions in blocking off the aisle to make sure everyone was protected in case of an accident. Jonathan should be highly commended for the job he did and Nick should be too for helping out when needed and being so courteous to the customer. That means so much. Thank you.

Just moved to WV from out of state. The Bridgeport Store has the best associates we have ever had at HD and we have been shopping at HD for many years. The associates at this store are very helpful and pleasant. Kudos to Bridgeport HD, we will certainly continue the hour drive to shop here.

Love, Love, Love the folks at this store!! Ive never walked out without having all of my questions answered. These guys and gals take time to show me how my tools work, how to install railing and steps, what to put under my pavers...any project I tackle (with little or no knowledge!) these folks go above and beyond to teach me, patiently and with knowledge. Whether its Matt and Nick in lumber, Dave and Donnie in Lawn and garden or Vicki at check out, I always feel like Im visiting friends at their work!!

We love our local Home Depot! The staff is always friendly and available for help. Other home improvement stores could take a page from the team at Home Depot. You never have to hunt someone down for assistance, and when you ask for help, they seem happy to offer assistance. Thanks for making all our visits swift and efficient. 

Very clean store with friendly staff. I love going to this store as I never leave upset like I do at the other hardware stores.

The employees here are very helpful when you ask and as they are passing always ask if you need help finding anything. This is appreciated. Garden Center employees always are so helpful and prompt to help as much as needed. We like this store and prefer it over another supply store that is near to it. There is no comparison. We began at the other place and because people were so lacking in assistance, we just stopped going there altogether. We used Home Depot through a major renovation we did and always found everyone ready to assist. This speaks volumes about a individual store.
