I just had THE BEST shopping trip today! I needed cellular blinds for four windows. The woman who waited on me was AMAZING! She listened to my needs, helped me select the product. Her professional and kindness was exceptional!!!! Then upon checkout, the cashier who assisted me was also EXCEPTIONAL! She assisted me in getting a Home Depot credit card which gave me a $50.00 savings on the purchase today! She was polite and respectful and simply a very nice person. These women made my day!!!

Like I indicated in the survey, store employees were very helpful. It is the company policies that I have a problem with. By the way 500 characters is not enough to explain my frustrations. In addition to the manner of delivery, I also asked what the time frame would be for our delivery which is to take place on Thursday August 13. I was told that it would be between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM, a 14 hour time frame. This was in addition to the fact that they will not bring the material, which weighs about 500 lbs., into the house. Sorry, I was told, only curbside delivery due to COVID. However your installers can spend hours inside our house doing the installation. Makes sense? NO. As I indicated, my wife and I are 77 and 76 years of age so schlepping 500 lbs. of material inside is not a minor matter. I asked if they could deliver the material to the front door; sorry, no can do. Curbside delivery only. Your policies are the most customer unfriendly I have seen.

While in the store, there were periodic overhead announcements on social distancing. The Bellingham Home Depot is an example of how all retailers should be protecting customers during this COVID19 pandemic.

My order, H2651-130422 was delivered on time. Jeff at the Pro Desk was awesome. Upon opening the order i was missing SKU # 1002-772-713 along with 30 bags of quikrete. I was in the middle of installing my fence, after digging all the holes and prep work. I called the Bellingham store and after waiting for 15 minutes, which was understandable because they were busy, I was told i had to contact the Natick store, even thought i ordered at the Bellingham store ans paid in full at the Bellingham store. It took me of 30 minutes to get anyone at the Natick store and after i explained in detail everything i was told the quikrete would be delivered on June 6th and he would have to file for the missing SKU # 1002-772-713. he said they had no quikrete. Now i have an exposed in ground pool at my house, an entire crew ready to install and i cant do anything. No one told me why the materials where not delivered or why i wasn't notified. When i went online to check store inventory it showed plenty of material. I then had my wife drive to the Bellingham store. EMILY was the lady who helped her. She got her the 30 bags of quikrete and didn't make us pay again. Emily was kind and courteous and helpful. On Sunday i went back to the Bellingham store because i still needed SKU # 1002-772-713. The pro desk was not open. I could not get any help for quite some time. When a service person finally helped me he sold me the wrong one. So now i will have to make another trip to try to get the correct part. Jeff at the Pro deck was excellent and Emily was also excellent. The staff on Sunday was rude and not helpful. At one point i asked a service person if he was busy and he snapped back "im always busy but what do you need". I explained and he said he had no idea what i was talking about.

I came in today to return a dimmer switch and an outlet plate. The packaging for the dimmer switch was not in mint condition because it was opened (nothing wrong with it). When I went to the customer service desk to return it, the cashier, Jessica, looked at me and was saying that we won’t ever be able to resell this because the packaging is so torn up and was speaking to me in an incredibly rude and disrespectful tone. Yes, I did get my refund, but after she frustratingly messed with the packaging and demanded that I signed the pin pad. She then gave me my receipt without saying anything else. I told her thank you and have a nice day and she rolled her eyes and didn’t even look up while trying to tape up the packaging. I love the store and everyone here is awesome, but today was a completely different experience. I am currently remodeling a bedroom and will not be returning to the store for quite a while.
