This was the second shelf I ordered. The first had noticeable damage to corner. This shelf was also damaged at corner but not as noticeable. You need to protect product better.

The ‘floating’ shelf was packed well and delivered safely. Indeed it was perfectly flat & square and well painted. Its hidden mount was well designed & properly manufactured. Installation was fast & easy!

The shelf itself was fine, and the basic installation was easy. However, the bracket to mount it to the wall was so tipped upward that we couldn't even see what was on our shelf. We had to put some shims behind the bracket on the top to just get it level. We were very disappointed and would definitely not buy it again.

Build quality is terrible
The wrong color item was sent to me. Home Depot refused to send a replacement without double charging me for the item. Also the build quality was awful, there were gaps in the corners.
