I used this to cover 70s wood stained paneling 10 years ago. This primer has held up with no stain leaking thru and no dulling of my top coat paint color (sherwin William's top coat). I think I used 2 coats of it and love the results. I also used recently to cover a 2nd hand dark wood headboard that smelled of cat. Cleaning it up gave no results, once I painted the smell was completely gone. The headboard is like new and I highly reccommend.

I needed 2 coats on a fiberglass door but when I added the coat of color it looked great. Goes on very easy..

Used Krud kutter to degrease Home Depot oak kitchen cabinet doors. Sanded, tack clothed then used Dap dry dec to reduce grain (Was not aware of the grain filler product when I did this step) Sanded and tack clothed again, then applied primer and waited 7 days for it to cure. Still had yellow grain showing through so sanded lightly with 320 paper and reapplied primer. I’m now on my fourth coat and STILL there is a yellow/ beige grain stain showing through. Surface is smooth but color stain is still visible. What else can I do? Don’t want to use finish coats if this issue will stain them!

Awesome product I used it to prime over red paint on wood. only one coat needed. It did not bleed through and I did not need to sand. I have recommended to friends and family. Painted over the primer and it turned out awesome.

Bulls Eye paint provides complete coverage as a primer on furniture. I have been using it for my business for over 5 years. I have used it on various wood surfaces as well as laminate. You do not have to strip a surface when you use Bulls Eye as your primer.

The Primer and Sealer was an excellent source to cover my raw wood over my patio. It went on smoothly and covered the areas very nicely. I hand painted becuz in closed in areas, the smell was non existent! I enjoyed using this product and recommend it to everyone.

I painted a finished and lightly textured metal bed frame with the primer and used a rust-oleum spray paint in metallic champagne bronze and it turned out great

I used it to cover a dark vinyl window and it covered great. I will use it again.

I love Zinsser Primer. Its my #1 Go To Primer when covering any old product left on my walls. I've tried other primers on sale but always go back to Zinsser. Easy to apply and dries quickly. Easy clean up!!! Love it!!!

Primed cabinets and wood paneling without sanding turned out great

Does a good job covering in one coat

Job was to paint a very broken down brick wall. Using 1& 1/4 nap rollers I primed 2x and probably could have gotten away with a "vintage look". Paint went on easy afterwards in 1 coat. Could not have been happier with the product. Client was very very happy with the results. Will absolutely use this again.

Saved me money! Killing two birds with one stone priming both paneling and concrete floor in family room! Great coverage on dark paneling! Dries in an hour or less, as stated. Easy soap/water clean up too! Great product!

Used on raw wood, crown molding and base molding used on a cornice. Covered all the different types of wood and allowed top coat to go on nicely.

I used this primer on brand new clean drywall/textured walls and ceiling. I wiped down the walls first with a damp microfiber cloth. Then I put on the primer. Let it dry for 24 hours. Next day I painted with Behr Marquis paint/primer in satin 3 walls and the ceiling. Let it dry for 24 hours. The next day I taped off the third wall with frog tape (NOT the extra sticky). Painted the accent/fourth wall. Let it dry for 16 hours. When I pulled the tape off the primer pulled completely off the walls and ceiling. I have to peel and sand everything off the entire bathroom and start again. This is so awful. What a waste of time and money. reference the question posted in questions on 10/31/18.

Normally use the Behr Primer & sealer but was told this product was superior. 4 gallons barely covered 836 sq ft of new textured drywall with 4 doorways....You do the math.

Jcb Painting used it twice to bond a wall after sanding and wallboard compound application and then painted with 2 finish coats. Walls look brand new today. The customer was very happy with the results.

Covered my fireplace very well. Even the dark soot areas. I haven't applied the white paint yet but just with the Bull's Eye it looks "Great" I would recommend to all my family and friends.

I have used this for years, great coverage, great protection. Blocks most stains from bleeding through, sticks to just about everything.

Building ornamental brackets/corbels for repair work to eaves on a large classical revival building in Portland, Maine I used a variety of woods, plywood, PT, knotty pine, mahogany, and had wood filler over nail holes, blemishes, etc. 123 make an even base for the semi-gloss top coat. High hide for a water based primer, low/no odor, dries fast, and, of course, soap and water clean up.

A good substitute for your product "Shieldz". Great as a block out primer under wallpaper. Also, good profile for increased adhesion.

I have used this product, many times, and am very happy with it's coverage and performance.
