These stones were described as pebbles. They were at least 2" big. Had to return them.

Very happy with the quality and colour of the rocks. They fall more to the brown side than red, but you will see a lot of red cordovan type shade through it. As other reviewers have stated the stones do not cover as far as the specs state, so I think 2.5 bags for every one they stated was about perfect. I bought 2/3 large pebbles and 1/3 small, and I think this is the trick. The small pebbles fill in around the larger ones gaps, giving a much better coverage look and the size of small stones is large enough to not stand out to strongly against the large. I am happy with my purchase. :) (this same review will be in the 'large pebble section also)

This product CLAIMS to cover 6 square ft. but actually only covers less than 2 square ft. In order to cover 6sq. ft you would have to line them end to end and proceed into a square. I am on disability, yet save my money to buy some nice things and this item, while very beautiful, is not worth the price. It turns out that I will need at LEAST 4 more bags to cover an area that is 2'x 8ft.

The ease of purchasing on this site is great and to have delivery of an item too heavy for me to lift or too big to haul in my car is so worthwhile.

I ordered fifteen bags thinking they would cover a small border around my entire yard (being that each bag supposedly covered six square feet). I'd say, in reality, each bag covered maybe a foot and a half. I can't understand why the listing is so inaccurate! I'm disappointed. On the plus side, though, the stones are absolutely beautiful. They're large beach pebbles, not small gravel. I really love the look of them so my fifteen bag project has quickly become a seventh five bag project.

I've only opened one box, but if the other 3 boxes are like this one I don't think they should have named them 'Pebbles'. The bag is marked correctly, 1/2" - 1 1/2" , but most of these are 2" - 3 1/4" in length. These pebbles are rocks. 6-8 cm are most of the ones on top that I've measured. They are not polished but dull. I've washed 2 handfuls (10 rocks) but are nothing like advertised. I had planned on using them as my shower floor, and decorate with a row of them in between the new tiles. Now I'm not sure what I'll do and with my project that starts in less than 2 weeks. I'm either going to use some (if I can find enough 2-3 cm) or they'll end up outside around the trees. As far as the 'yellow polished pebbles' goes, beware as there are a lot of dark grey. I hope this helps any of you that wants to order these. Maybe that's what you're looking for, but I need to find 'pebbles'.
