I wish I had them longer
I wish I had them longer to give a good evaluation as to durability. Lots of pockets and extremely comfortable after they have been washed a couple of times. Yes: I would buy them again as long as they hold up., but they are a bit pricey Question, Enlighten me, what are the holes in the bottom of the knee for, I've never had pants that had them?

I will continue to purchase these
I have previously used carharts cargo pants and in my line of work i was lucky to get 2 months out of them before i wore through the knees. I found these at a local store for the same price that i had been paying with better construction and materials. I have been using the same pair for 5 months now and expect that they will last several months more especially since i have since purchased 2 more pair for a little variety in color. The only suggestion i have is to make the slant pocket on the right side a little wider to accomodate a smart phone.

Lifetime warranty
My son wears Riggs for his landscape business and they are, by far, the best. I just ordered 4 more and noticed that they say lifetime warranty, but can't find anywhere what that covers. Please let me know.

Probably done buying these pants
I am not sure why there seems to be such a positive review of these pants. The Ripstop fabric wears very poorly. Actually I have not been able to find a ripstop fabric that will hold up and the price would seem to indicate that you could expect better quality. I don't care what you call them, they need to wear like what you would expect "Workwear" to be. Not worth the the money at any price. 3 months old and they are going into the garbage.

I continually buy these
I used to use carhart onlly. Then tried a pair of these pants and haven't gone back. They will rip... On nails! My tool belt will make the buttons show through on the cargo pockets and the knees will wear out. The crouch, my biggest concern, has never ripped! I put real life wear on one pair at a time five days a week. Each pair lasts about 3 months. Well worth the price. Good work pant

I guess only fat dudes can be tall?
I'm a tall skinny guy (6'3" @ 165lbs) with a 36" inseam & 30.5" waist. I like to wear a 32" waisted pant for a roomier fit, but can never get the 36" length with small waist. Since not offered in my size, I can't really have a solid review of these pants. I sure wish pants were available to fit me & other tall skinny guys!

Great except!
I'm an active property manager. These pants are great except the slant top pocket on the cargo pocket is too small to hold a smart phone. I like to have easy access to my phone. The carpenter version of these pants has a larger pocket and works great. The belt loop placement is off for those of use that were holstered tools. I wear three on my belt and the is not enough space to keep the holsters positioned in front and they slide around to my back and make sitting in a seat uncomfortable. Once again the carpenter version has better loop placement. I like the double knee fabric for the wear points and using them while riding my motorcycle.

Good so far
I purchased these as a lighter alternative to the carharts I normally wear. They are comfortable an fit nice. There seems to be more loose threads than I'm use to. The one improvement I would make is to have more rigidity to the leather patch maybe have it to continue into the pocket to actually protect from tape clips, it's kinda just for show.

Bury me in these pants
I am a commercial electrician that also does HVAC/R work. I am constantly kneeling bending and moving all day. Without a doubt these are the most comfortable pants I have ever worn. I have at least 30 pairs of other pants that may never get worn again. I currently have 12 pairs of the Riggs ripstops in various colors. I have never had any durability/stitching issues. I wear them every day at work and in casual settings. The cargo pockets have plenty of room. I am 6'6" and weigh 250 lbs and was told they made my tush look good. They dry fairly quickly if they get wet. I ordered some that were lined but they run a little smaller in the waist than the unlined. When I get grease/oil stains on them, I pretreat them with Dawn dish soap before I wash them and they look great again. Length is consistent with marked inseam size and I don't want them to shrink so I air dry them and Iron them to maintain the length.

Not wearing very well
I bought about 10 pairs since Jan of 2017 for my son and husband. 2 pairs of my son's are already coming apart at the bottom of cargo pocket. They are suppose to have a lifetime warranty. Would have thought they would last longer than 4 months.

Second set of Riggs Pants.
Just ordered 5 more pair of Riggs Work Pants. The original Pants held up pretty well, after about a year of heavy use the crotch seam started to let loose. My only problem is I have rather large thighs and would like a little more room. If I get a big enough size for my thighs, the waist is huge. This is my first week with my new Pants, still pretty stiff. Seems like the quality is the same as other brands. I will know more in a year or so.

Good pants with some caveats
I am 6'5" tall, 220lbs. with 36" waist, 36" inseam, 26" quad, 17" calf, I have owned 6 pairs of these pants over the last 27 months. I bought 4 pairs initially in black, loden, slate and dark brown. The browns got taken at the laundry before the 1st year was up. The crotch gave out (more on that later) on the lodens after about 18 months, so I tossed them. I lost 40lbs. since purchase and re-bought the loden and dark brown in a smaller size. I use the pants for work and travel, as the pockets are very convenient and they are generally tough in the seat, thigh and knees. Not bad in hot summers, and good in winter if you layer some thermals underneath. A comfortable fit - not too baggy like some cargo pants. Frankly, these would be the perfect work pants if Wrangler fixed two issues: 1. The color fades significantly after the first wash and continues to fade noticeably after subsequent washes. 2. The front-most seam in the gusseted crotch has failed on all 6 pairs I have owned, separating in one or more places and eventually opening up to the point that I have to mend it (i'm no seamstress), or it completely rips open and become unwearable. This is not due to any crazy acrobatics on my part, as the rest of the stitching and material of the pants are still in really good shape by the time this crotch-fail eventually happens. Were it not for this one issue the lifetime of the pants would double. To be fair, I have gotten nearly 100 wears/pair so generally, I would recommend, but I have 4 other-wise perfectly good pairs of pants that have holes in the crotch.

excellent, but disappointed
I love these pants, I didn't have anything bad to say about them until the other week, pulled them out of the laundry and noticed that they are ripping about .25" above the stitching for the reinforced knee. Took a look at my other pairs and they are also starting to show the same wear. No where else is showing any signs of wear. I had been recommending them to my friends and family. Now I'm just not sure on the quality. I've had BDU's that never showed any signs of wear like that even after a year in the desert.

Great Selection: Exactly What I've Been Looking For !
I usually buy work pants when I am at a sporting goods store, these pants are usually a hit/miss with regards to fit & quality. I was at C@bel@$ recently and decided to give the Wrangler RIGGS pants a try. When trying them on, understand they are a lot stiffer than they will be after a few washings. This is due to their thick material that is durable. I'm not a big fan of having 7000 pockets all over my pants (makes ironing a [female dog]!), but the cargo pockets on these are well designed and SNAP! close (no velcro). I bought 2 pair then (and of course, an "off brand" like I usually do. But having worn these RIGGS for the past 2 weeks, I will likely purchase a few more pairs in different colors (not available at the store). I give these pants a 9.55/10: Durable, Stylish, well thought-out design.

Second Pair -
When his first pair of RIGGS Workwear - Ranger Pant wore out, my son asked where he could get another pair. I bought his first pair from a national off-price store. I went on line to the WRANGLER site. I appreciate that the process of locating RIGGS Workwear was easy. My husband wrapped the pants as a gift for my son's birthday, while doing so, he decided he would like a pair of the Ranger Pant as well. I will be ordering his today.
