Very stiff, very heavy, very uncomfortable. Product description very misleading.

Trying to get the right size
Last year I was able to get size 29 waist and now can't get it anymore. Size 30 just is to loose, can't believe after all the years I've got size 29 they stop. So much for caring about the customer!

I will definitely be buying more of these
My husband works in construction. He loves the way these fit and that there is room where he needs it to bend and move. He also loves the pockets so he can carry smaller tools, etc and the pants are reinforced in all the places all other work pants and brands have worn and ripped.

Best pant you can buy!
These are, hands down, the best pants you can buy. I wear them daily and they wear like iron. Doubled knee, cargo pockets perfectly placed, wide and deep hip pockets, wide belt loops, and heavy rip stop cotton. They are my go pants when I ride the motorcycle. Can easily be worn under riding pants.

Never gets in the way
For six months, I wore these throughout every work week installing HVAC systems (climbing in rafters, bending over and kneeling down). The cargo pockets never got in the way when I kneeling as my current Carhartt's do! There are extra pockets on the right cargo pocket where I carry my utility knife. I'm right-handed so I love being able to reach down quickly while something is in my left hand. It's easy and efficient. The crouch gusset is awesome. Essential in my opinion. Too much pinch otherwise. I really believe I'd still be wearing these almost a year after purchasing had I not accidentally cut a hole in my pants that eventually ripped. I loved these pants and wish I had them every time I kneel on the cargo pocket corner edge of my current Carhartt pants. Buy these if you want a good pant.

Not for hot weather
I'm an electrician n I have 8 pairs of these. Love them except they are very hot and uncomfortable in warm weather. When your legs sweat it makes it hard to move around in them. Also had size issues. Most of them are 31" waist but a couple pairs are 32" waist. So try on before you buy.........if possible.

great product
I use these as part of my uniform at work. They are close enough in color to get by but the deal is, chasing a bad guy thru the brush, these pants protect from briars. Sitting at the desk, they are comfortable. Getting in and out of the car, they don't bind. I have "the" name brand tac pants you see advertised at twice the price. These are better, any way you want to compare.

Built to last
Found these pants around 5 years ago when I was working out of the country. I needed tough and durable clothing with the utility function of military gear. I can not express how happy I am with the wear and function of the Wrangler® RIGGS Workwear® Ripstop Ranger Pant. I have used every aspect of these pants from the ID card pocket to the hammer loop and been exceedingly impressed. I can even wear a newer pair as dress clothes in a pinch, which really helps when I'm on the road, but have to attend meetings. I haven't managed to wear a pair out naturally yet.

good pants need a little improvement
I had been buying these pants every year for the past 3 years. Wash them once a week. 52 wahses and drys a year takes a toll on pants. My biggest issue with the cargo pants are the cargo pockets. I put tools in those pockets and they wear holes in the bottoms of the cargo pockets. The back pockets are great but the bottoms of the cargo pocket needs that extra nylon like the back pockets have. The other issue I have is we that are left handed use our left front pocket so to put that fake leather piece on the right pocket and not the left makes my left pocket wear out very quickly. Fix those two issues and maybe I wont have to replace them every year.

Seemed great at first but wore out quickly
I work in construction and wear out pants quickly. I have been wearing Wrangler jeans for a few years and liked the fit, value, but they wore out quickly, lasting only a few months. the weakest part were the pockets which wore out very quickly. Soon, my keys and change were falling through holes in the fabric. These were more expensive, but I thought I would give them a chance. When they arrived, I quickly saw that the linings in the back pockets were frayed and loose, but I needed the pants right away and kept them. Big mistake. Now, just a few months later, there are holes in the pockets and they are expensive garbage. It's my fault for not returning them right away, but it takes so much time and effort to pack and ship the pants back, it's not worth the effort. Part of the problem with buying online, you can't just take them back to the store and exchange them. I won't buy from Wrangler anymore, their quality control isn't there.

Outstanding!
Wow! All I can say is these are the best Cargo Pants I've over owned, and I have been wearing cargo khakis for the last 10-15 years... I just hadn't found these wrangler ones until last month. The quality is top notch, fabric is excellent, and so much thicker and stronger than anything else I have worn. I cleared out most of my previous cargo pants/khakis to make room for the 5 pairs of these I just purchased! Only thing they are missing in this line is a nice true 'tan/beige' color, as the 'bark' color they have now is more like a real real light-green.

Durable product
I have been purchasing this product for about four years. I am a carpenter and these pants offer some good features .They are durable .I average about two years on each pair before they wear out. For me the hammer loop is useless. I don't know who carries a hammer that will fit in that loop . Loop also needs to be on right side for most people Or better yet a loop on both sides . I would love it if Wrangler could come up with a pencil pocket next to the cargo pocket.

overall quality is good
Myself and many of my fellow workers love the pants. They are great in the field and serve well when we are not working as they double as very fine casual wear. The only thing all of us say is we wish they came in tan. Its a more versatile color and goes with everything.

These are Great Pants
The care and detail that was put into these pants just floored me. They are comfortable, durable and practical. Double layers of fabric on the knees and crotch along with snap closures, not velcro, assure me that these pants are going to last. The thinking involved in the design, and the quality of the materials are superior to any other work pants I have owned.

Very comfortable and durable
These pants are very durable and comfortable but I have a few suggestions and complaints about these pants. The ripstop material should travel further into the front pocket, the clip of a measure tape is just below it and becomes bothersome. They wrinkle very badly in the dryer, have to be ironed to look nice. Should have pockets for knee pad inserts like Daluth firehose pants. Sizing is very inconsistent, I have 5 pair of pants and 5 pair of shorts the same size and all fit differently from perfect to very loose like an inch too big waist. The shorts are a bit long in the legs and catch on your knee when bending down, may want to shorten them 1 to 2 inches. My suggestion is try each pair on before buying, just because it says 33 waist it is not.

The 30 X 30 slate blue pant is a at least a size smaller than the other colors of the same pant. The other colors fit fine, the slate blue won't even button!

tough pants for hard jobs. long lasting
I have owned 1 pair of ripstop rangers for over 2 years with out a single tear. I am an electrician and also do other construction jobs. I am constantly in crawlspaces and attics on my knees. you can imagine i wind up in some tight spaces and rough work spaces. I also have 2 pair of the rip stop shorts that are also just as tough. i am definitely buying at least 3 more ripstop rangers this year. my biggest complaint is the opening size on the upper front pockets, they could be just a bit bigger. One other thing sizing is inconsistent, i cant find my size that fits like the pair i have and have had to send a pair of the shorts i ordered back because they some times run really small. but love them other then that.
