I've gigged these because of the fit. They seem to run a couple sizes too big. I'm a fan of the original fit, but I thought I give these a try because of the mid-rise. Quality is typical Wrangler...great. If you like baggie jeans you may like these, just not my thing.

Only able to find size a few places.
Appreciate being able to get jeans for the long and skinny. Price is a little high for a cheap parent.

Wish I was taller!
I'm sure there is only a handful of us that this affects but the 37 inch waist is the only size that doesn't come in 30 inch inseam. Other than spending a little time at the sewing machine, I truly value these jeans. I've wore 13mwz for many years but those same years changed my build. The 47mwz fit perfect. A real bonus is a useable watch pocket. Guess I'll keep ordering them and buying needle and thread!

Love them
I love the 47MWZ jeans I am a field service technician in the agriculture industry. I weld, use cutting torches and have to crawl around in the dirt, hay meadows, or grain fields in them every day all day and hold up great. The only problem is that when they first came out every store that carried Wranglers had a couple in my size but do not after the initial order because the are considered big and tall. Sucks finding them and no one will order them for me.

Excellent Jean
These jeans are far better than the regular 13mwz jean. I have always worn the 13mwz, but these jeans are far better in quality and fit. They are a mid rise in the crotch, so therefore you don't have to pull them up so high on your waist for us bigger guys. Great price, excellent service, and I recommend them to anyone!!

Original fit is actually very low and tight
I ordered the same size of wrangler jeans that I currently have and what arrived was low-waisted with a short zipper - certainly NOT the "original" style. I returned the jeans.

Great Jeans
I was a levi guy for many years, after wearing these jeans i'm a wrangler guy now, slightly tight at first, but they fit well after a few days, great quality fabric i'm sure will last awhile, very stylish, looks great with boots and at a great price too, i'm very satisfied. Thank you wrangler!

Tight.
I have tried several pairs of this jean, they are always way too tight in the waist seat and thigh. Never was comfortable wearing them because I can't put things in the pockets or bend comfortably. Change the cut of them!

Excellent
Been wearing these 47MWZ's since they came out. I really do like them. A good fit for an older guy like me, and they come in a 40 length for that stacked look that I love and that adds boot protection because they don't ride up when you get in the saddle.

Rigid Premiums - Simply The Best.
I spent a little over a year and somewhere close to $1200 buying and trying as many styles and brands of jeans as I could find. I read the blogs. I watched the "how they're made" videos. I tried to be something like a blue-jean expert. Out of all of the jeans I tried, these are the jeans that I love to wear to work, to fish, to hunt, to the range, to play poker, to run up to the store, to church, etc. I would wear a dirty pair of 0047MWZ's before I wore a clean pair of any of the others. These are "rigid" jeans. If you wear them long enough, they end up super soft and fitting like they were tailored just for you. No disrespect, but the gentleman that complained about the crease and stiffness just needs to wear'em and wash'em ... again, and again, and again. These are the best jeans on the market, without a doubt. Find your size and get a pair. Trust me - you will not regret buying these jeans. These are your favorite jeans that you just haven't bought yet. I bought two more pair last week and I'm wearing one of them. Right now.

Great Jeans...very pleased!
I really like the jeans. I had purchsed 36MWZ which are slim fit. The slim fit were too tight around the hips and legs, but the 47MWZ Regular Fit add just enough in the hips and legs to make them fit very well. Really like this pair of jeans.

Decent product, room for improvement
I am disappointed that there is not at least a 36 inseam if not even a 38 inseam. I have a hard time finding jeans to fit me in the length. If I wear shoes and sit down it looks like I have high waters on. You guys start out and have an excellent product then you go and change it or take away sizes, STOP DOING THAT!! The new advance comfort jeans you came out with are nice but not everybody likes one that has stretch in them! Go back to larger jeans, even if you don't necessarily sell a ton of them! Big and tall guys will appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

Same problem 3 pairs
I've bought 3 pair of the 47MWZ jeans because I like the fit of the pants and because they're advertised as lasting 20% longer; however I have also gone through all three pairs of these jeans in under 2 years because of a hole that somehow has appeared in the same spot on all three sets. Guess I won't be purchasing another pair.

47MWZ for the first time....maybe last.
I'm 50 years old and have always worn 13mwz jeans. Just bought two pairs of 47mwz (38x34) for the shorter rise waist. These jeans are way too baggy for me through the thighs and the waist size is a little sloppy, too. My understanding was that the waist rise was changed along with pocket size. The rest of the styling was supposed to be the same as my beloved 13mwz's. Sorry to hear that I'm not the only one having sizing issues with what was such a reliable jean, but I'm a little relieved cuz the scale wasn't supporting the extra room I was experiencing...

Not Bad Not Great
I purchased 2 colors. The fit from one color to the next is different. I usually wear 36mwz and thought I would try these, they are now my yard jeans since one pair is too short for stacking and the other pair is too baggy.

Material creased badly
Washed the jeans right after I received them. The way the jeans were factory folded left an noticeable faded crease line along side of the stitched seams on the inner and outer legs, and the material was like stiff cardboard. What a waste of money.

wrangler always very good pants but are trying to make...
We are very disappointed, have been buying 47MWZPW in a size 44 x36 length. Now we understand wrangler has quit making the 36 inseam. Understand pants companies are not making the different sizes, apparently not the big sellers. Now we have the problem with what use to fit very well to not fitting right. The size of the body of the pants does not fit the same with a shorter seam. I know some will say it does not make a difference, but it does. If the makers of wranglers read this review, please make the 36 inch inseam again, there are people that have worn these pants for over 40 years and have depended on good quality dependable work pants.
