This came on time and in excellent condition and the only issue we’ve had is not being able to get the canopy to snap up tight/ flush to the ceiling, even after watching their video and following the tips. But it *looks* flush, and as we’re not going to be hanging from the chandeliers, so to speak, it’s all good. What a HUGE change it made to our hallway! The bisque color does read browner when lit. But is perfect for us. Lightweight, so it safely hangs from our remodeled recessed light fixture from the late 1990’s.

Was pleasantly surprised how easy it is to turn an ugly can light into a decorative lamp. My wife has groaned for the last 6 months regarding the three ugly 1990's can lamps we had over our kitchen island, yet I didn't want to tear into the ceiling to mount new fixtures (no, I'm not a couch potato). In a moment of rare brilliance, I asked her to Google if there was a can light conversion kit and this product line showed up. Despite a few reviews of product arriving damaged, in my case the packaging was more than robust and left no chance for item damage in transit, everything showed up just fine. Super easy install, took longer to unpack the box than to install.

I installed two of these pendants myself while my husband was at the grocery store. They look great and really add to the look of our basement bar. Love them!

Love the look it gives over my bar area. Everyone comments on it as soon as they walk into my kitchen. Seen it online thought it would be a nice piece to purchase but looks even better once I got it.Only wish I didn't have to order whole new kit since I had 2 from before and thought I could just change the shade.none the less I'm very happy and satisfied with my purchase

This product provided an easy and inexpensive way to upgrade the recessed light in the dining area of our rented apartment. I do wish it was a little bigger (maybe HD will expand the line in the future). At any rate, it I matches perfectly, looks great and when we move, we can unscrew it in 5 minutes and take it with us!

I had one recessed light over my kitchen sink that didn't really put off that much light because of the high ceiling. I installed this pendant to bring the light down further into the room and it's great! SO easy to install. The only hard part was wrapping the cord around the handle so that it hangs straight to cover the recessed trim completely. Really couldn't be an easier way to update your decor. Highly recommend.

At $60 for both the pendant light and the light accessory (the metal attachment above the light shade) I was a little skeptical as to the quality of the light. It is actually very good quality and looks like it cost much more. It is the perfect size for a pendant light, not too small but not big and bulky. I am using a 75 watt bulb and it emits a nice warm light throughout the kitchen and is perfect for task lighting over the island as well. It is also the easiest thing to install. If you can screw in a light bulb, you can install this light, literally. I'm glad I decided to get the accessory because it acts like a cord cover. Great find!!

This conversion kit pendant light is a wonderful product! I had a single recessed light in my laundry room over a sink. It looked strange. I ordered this conversion kit because it required no removal of the currant fixture. While I waited for my light to arrive, I found another conversion kit by Portfolio. I installed the Portfolio kit and did not like the quality of the look. The cover for the recessed light looked cheap and not like a real pendant light. When this conversion kit arrived, I installed it immediately. It took no more than 5 minutes to wrap the excess cord around the hook to the length I wanted and screw the connection into the light socket. It's beautiful!! When I first installed the cover for the recessed light didn't sit flush to the ceiling. To fix this, I pulled the cord tight while I screwed the connector to the cover. Once tight, I released the cord and the cover sat perfectly flush. I would recommend this conversion kit to anyone looking for a quick and easy way to install a pendant light. The only thing I would recommend Home Depot offer along with this kit is a diffuser to the bottom of the shade. I don't really like seeing the bulb. I found one from another retailer and am waiting for it to arrive.

It’s a clever invention, looks good, and is easy to install. We have a slanted ceiling and the old light has a large plastic collar around the light. With the angled ceiling, the circular metal piece slides slightly downward and doesn’t quite cover the plastic. Still a good item for level ceilings.

A very easy direct replacement for a recessed can light.

Worked as advertised. Perfect addition to area over kitchen sink where existing can lite placement existed. Worked out of the box, no extra parts needed. Was up in a matter of minutes. Very high quality and looks very good. Recommended 100%.

This went together really quickly. Drum shade arrived with light damage on the trim but was able to fix with fabric glue and a wooden clothespin . This light replaces a can light over a small dining table. This light allows more focused light over the table. We think it is a winner!.

We are delighted with our new, easy to hang pendant conversion kit. Our dining room is now open for compliments ;) We received the item in good time and installed this pendant like a pro. If you can change a light bulb, anyone can install a pendant. It dresses up this old apartment built in 1965 to look more trendy and modern. It hangs over a distressed creme colored round, heavy all-wood table and we couldn't be happier with it and the look it gives our dining room. We are seniors and didn't have a short ladder so our 26-yr old son got into a chair and completed the task for us. So easy - A tiny kink in the cord from the drum to the ceiling, which hubbs says to me, "no one will notice that but you!" He's probably right, but as a perfectionist, I see it and think with time it will correct itself. We need another one for our bathroom - if the drum shade in linen material is what you're looking for, don't hesitate, the price is twice as much on eBay for the EXACT SAME pendant. The Home Depot has the BEST price, go ahead, cart this item, you won't regret it!

Such an inexpensive way to completely change a space! I put them over my island where I had two can lights and it looks amazing. Everyone that sees them has no idea, they think I had an electrician over. :)

I was looking for something warmer than the can lights in the guest bedroom. these lights are perfect and installed in minutes.

Those two inches make a big difference in the appearance. I made a 12 inch mock up and it worked in my space, but a 10 inch wide does not work. That's the only reason I'm giving it such a low rating - it's a complete waste of my time - mock up, ordering, pick up, and now returning it, all because HD is so far off in their measurements. That's really not an acceptable mistake.

These truly are as easy to install as screwing in a lightbulb. And they add such a dramatic impact to an oh-so-blah can light. I ordered three of these. Two arrived with no apparent damage to the exterior packaging; however, one shade was crushed, and a second shade's border banding material was wonky and unglued. I tried to fix them as best as possible and hung them anyway. The third light was perfect, with no damage whatsoever. Quality control issue? Not sure. I would have returned to first two, but had already disposed of the packaging. I sure would love to purchase more of these Worth Home pendant light conversation kits, but now I am afraid to, because of the apparently lack of quality control.

This Worth product is so easy and inexpensive that i ordered four to replace ceiling can lighting and the same for my mom's condo. Saw them in a magazine for much more and got them from Home Depot under another brand but great quality. ingenious how you just screw it into the light socket.

Easy/fast to install. Looks great. I have it over a round table in rec room with recessed lighting. Really makes the area imitate for card games. Not a large shade but does the job. Takes up to a 100 watt bulb, so there is adequate light. Great value for price. Classic design.

I installed this over my kitchen sink. It was very easy to install. It is beautiful and looks like a hard wired light fixture.
