The pole was very heavy.

This is the one to buy if you want the best paint pole, and Wooster ensured quality throughout. For example, the click button easily locks it in place and easily releases it, and the spring supports firm action without too much resistance. The hexagonal shaft ensures there is no bending under heavy loads of paint - way better than round shafted paint poles. The rubberized grip is just the right length, and fiberglass construction allows for light weight. I've never had one of these break. Put this all together and the bottom line is it helps speed your work and keep your moves accurate.

So far so good, it's quite short at 4' (I used to have one that was 5' or so but Home Depot seems to only carry 4' or 6'-ish) but overall works for my purpose of sweeping the garage floor and getting hard to reach areas with the paint roller.

It is a strong, well built roller extension handle.

I decided I would save money and paint my 2 story foyer and stairway myself with only this 12' poll and a 8' laddar. I could easily reach to the top with this long handle and I did not think it was too heavy for a female to hold. I highly recommend this to paint 2 story rooms.
