So glad the installation went well and no leaks. If you need to adjust the linkage or even the SNAP of the handle, there are videos on the Y34 product pages. Also, if you ever need to purchase a repair kit for the Y34, you will need the RK-Y34, and sold right here on HomeDepot.com. Thank you for your Woodford purchase, the Choice of Professionals!

Replaced a 40 year old hydrant with the same thing. Hope the quality has remained the same over the years. Have tried another brand once and it only lasted 10 years.

This orange hydrant has been produced since 1929 and is a dependable asset for your watering needs out in the field, garden, etc. If needed, repair parts are available (rk-y34) and can be made at the head of the hydrant. Installation and repair videos also available at homedepot.com.

Well worth the money
I own a small plant nursery, when I first started, I purchased one of the lesser priced yard hydrants thinking I was saving money by doing so. I should have bought the Iowa yard hydrant from the get go, would have saved myself time and money.

I have others of these. If it is not an IOWA it is not worth buying. All others last a few years, I have 2 IOWAs over 40 years old that still work.
IOWA's are the best and longest lasting frost free hydrant on the market.

Yard hydrant
We only installed the hydrant about 2 weeks ago so I haven't had much experience with it yet. It seems to work as I expected, but how it works this coming winter will be the test.

New Hydrant
Old hydrant froze up. This one is a much better quality. Ordered on-line and the process was pretty easy and didn't have any problems. Glad I read the comments on the description because the length on the description is the bury length and not the overall length.
