JUNK! I'd give a zero star reivew if I could
EVERY YEAR, 8 years in a row now, this thing cracks. That means spending 75 to (now over 100.00) just to turn on my sprinklers. The first year I could understand, I left it in the elements, but for the past 7 years I've disconnected it and stored it in my garage.

I was getting a thumping sound when my sprinklers went on. Must of been in internal problem in the old valve.
Installing the new valve went smoothly, problem solved.

Good replacement for parts
Jenuane community used these for their sprinkler installations, glad that home Depot stocked these. I can interchange parts with old unit to fix issues. Got 4 stars since original had pinhole in brass after turning water back on after winter. I did winterize system before turning water off
