This time the bore that seals against the o-ring has green pitting
The rebuild kit is a bit spendy (~$40 for 3rd party or ~$70 for OEM) for what is typically needed (an o-ring $1-3 (definitely) and a rubber seal ( maybe) and some silicone grease ($4)
O-ring 3/4” O.D. x 9/16” I.D. x 3/32" Danco #11
The rubber "Seal Ring" is only available in the rebuild kit and can be flipped to buy some more years... Some use a razor blade to cut down the rubber gasket in the Orbit Brass Valve Rebuild kit

For everyone that is leaving negative reviews for pressure creeping up slowly in hours or days; It is possible that the old pressure regulator was not defective and you need to look at your expansion tank, if you have one. The expansion tank is supposed to buffer flow and pressure especially on the hot water side. A defective expansion tank will cause pressure to creep up over time.

The water pressure reducing quality is pretty good, and it’s exactly same size as what’s My broken one, so I just replace it and no need to make extension

This is the 2nd valve I’ve purchased this year. First one didn’t last a year. I have same brand but different model number valve on another water line and it’s over 15 years old still working like a champ.
I hope the replacement will last longer? If not, I’ll have to redo the plumbing to make a different model fit.

Requires rebuilt kit every 8 to 12 months
Used same model 30+ years. Initially, replaced every 8 years, then 4 years. Since 2018, needed repair kit every 8-12 months. Very costly and nuisance. Issue: Pressure increases slowly after 2 -3 hours to inlet pressure (85 psi). No visible internal housing damage. Water heater off. Zurn is aware, but unable to diagnose if faulty valve (possibly built closer to maximum internal tolerance where slightest O-ring or seal ring wear causes pressure increase.) I will not recommend this model.

These are quality products even though I had to return one. I have installed 4 of them in the last 6 months.Make sure you have a pressure gauge and read the instructions of how to adjust the pressure. In general I like the product and the company behind it.

Most folks here gave negative reviews that it came from factory at 55 PSI and then went up. They are all either not looking at specs or confused with something else.
This particular model has range of 75 psi to 125 psi. This is high pressure regulator. It comes at 85 psi preset from factory. Read the specs folks!

I checked out the reviews before buying the local stores only carry this brand so I was forced to buy another. Followed instructions and everything was perfect for 15 hours then the pressure went up over 100. Don't waste your time installing it. I gave it 1 star but it deserves ZERO. I will return it and find a retailer that has another brand it stock since I don't want to wait 5 - 7 days for Home Depot to ship it to me. The old one lasted for over 12 years. It seems the company's quality control has fallen apart.

Owned this regulator for about five years. Worked perfectly. I wanted a regulator to reduce pressure for my home, but not reduce volume (flow), and it does both very well. I recently rebuilt this unit with the kit you can order. I refurbished it early because I changed the plumbing to install a water softener, so it was good time for that maintenance, and it works like new again. Judging from the wear and calcification inside, with 20 grains of hardness in our water, I think it could go for ten years between rebuilds, YMMV. The kit was only $40 less than the new regulator, and it will take time and effort for the DIY'er to rebuild it. I hope that helps if you are considering rebuilding one.

Product was fairly easy to install and worked for a few weeks. After install, line pressure after valve was around 55 psi. After a few weeks it started leaking pressure, such that I could not adjust pressure to lower than 90 psi. I returned item to Home Depot and exchanged it for a new one. Same thing happened. Pressure after install was 55 psi, but a few weeks later I could not get pressure to drop below 90 psi. I would not recommend this product for installations you expect to last longer than a couple of weeks.

Easy to install, I added a another union for easier future access purchased separately, (male x copper union, now it's a double union) I recommend Wilkens pressure reducing valves.

Junk
Installed this less than 2 years ago. It's leaking pressure. When there's no water flow, pressure creeps up and causes my water heater's relief valve to open. I have high pressure from the city (~150psi) because I live near a pumping station. I've already cleaned it out. Still same issue. Now I'm debating if I should gamble my money on a rebuild kit. BTW, the one that previously failed was the same model.

poor quality product
My brand new one only worked for three years. I called the vendor she recommended me to clean it up. But it did not work. Due to the size of the pipe, I have no choice to replace with a brand new one. DO NOT BUY IT unless you only want it to last for less than three years.
