I am very disappointed. I purchased a full set including refrigerator of Whirlpool Gold appliances because I was previously happy with my full set from 14 years ago! I have never written a review before but I feel it is imperative to share this.... This oven is not suitable for bakers... Cakes and cookies are not turning out. I thought it was a temperature or thermostat issue and the repairman came out and read through the information about the product that is available to him. The information he then read aloud to me and the way this oven is designed to heat is making the oven not cook evenly. It over pre-heats to a hotter temp and then assumes what it will cool back to when you put your food in the oven. It then reheats the same way if you open your oven for any reason. If you are baking pan after pan of cookies... the temperature reheats and browns the tops and bottoms too quickly and you have harder/crunchier cookies. My cream cheese pound cakes that you put into a cold oven are even more affected! Please be aware if you are a baker... this is not the oven for you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Microwave is great. Since it is a wall oven unit, the fan tends to run a little longer to cool down. You get used to it. Oven is great, too. I haven't cooked using the convection yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven is very nice but, it makes a very annoying fan/whistling noise whenever the oven is on and during cool down. It's hard to believe whirlpool didn't catch this when they designed it.

This appliance was installed with a new built house. It is noisy and the fan takes forever to shut off, the convection does not work as I expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first combo whirlpool oven/micro last 34 years! Than the micro went. We were looking at three brands and went back to the Whirlpool. I love the look and the convection is a nice addition. The one thing I dislike is the noise. As the oven starts to heat there is a "air" sound that stays until the oven cools. My old oven, in fact any oven I've ever had, made no noise. So, that is why I could not give this product the full five stars.

It was on back order for 3 weeks, but so far has been well worth the wait. There have been several nice upgrades after 14 years and so far we couldn't be happier.

I find that the microwave and oven are not as powerful as my previous ones, but they still work as needed. It is definitely noisy when cooling down, but that is not something that bothers me very much. I've only had it for a month so I don't have too much experience with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave/oven combo is not as common as we might have thought. This unit fit our space and has operated flawlessly thus far. Glad we went with all Whirlpool appliances when we replaced the 18 year old ones in our recently purchased home.

This unit is just as advertised. Controls are easy to use, it cooks great and looks even better. One tiny install hiccup and it was our doing. When installing the cabinet screws we over-torqued. The result was a small chip out in the porcelain.

Easy to install and works well...a little bit of a learning curve for the controls.Fan noise is not bad.cooks evenlytakes a bit to warm up.

This combo unit came installed in the new house we bought last month.....so far so good except for having to repair the oven seal that was not installed correctly at the factory.....it was easier to repair it myself than to call out the tech.

Our home warranty company selected this product to replace an older microwave/oven unit when it stopped working. The microwave and oven both cook food fine, but there are several design elements that we do not like. For example, the microwave door drops down to open, which means that it gets in the way when you need to reach inside to clean the back wall of the microwave. (If my arms were about 4 inches longer it would not be a problem.) The microwave is noisy, and when the cooking is completed, this noisy motor continues to run for what seems to be a long time. The control buttons for the oven and microwave are not elevated, but flush, and it seems to require an inordinate amount of pressure to activate them. Stay away from this model if at all possible.

My wife and I , are very pleased with this wall unit, I have gained 10 pounds. My wife is cooking and baking daily. I like the futuristic look and the delicious food that makes me need a new belt. It took 15 years for us to upgrade our kitchen with Whirlpool gold series, it was money well spent!

I just had the this unit installed today, very disappointed in the loud fan noise. If I would have known earlier about this irritating fan noise I never would have made this purchase. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE UNIT.

I only purchased a month ago and already am very happy with it. Just wish I had found Whirlpool before I purchased the side by side refrigerator/freezer a couple of years ago!!

We bought a complete Whirlpool Gold suite of appliances for our kitchen and could not be happier! We choose Whirlpool after an extensive search of products during the construction of our new home. We based it upon past experiences, reviews of other people and Whirlpools reputation for a quality product. We use the Microwave daily and it performs flawlessly every time. The oven works flawlessly also. I would, and do, recommend Whirlpool for anyones next appliance purchase.

I bought this unit and had it installed 11 days ago. I have only cooked in the lower oven once, due to the loudness of the cooling fan. Whether the lower oven is in convection mode or thermal mode there is a loud roar as the cooling fan runs. The microwave fan, also loud, will continue to run after the cooking process is complete, until the door is opened. I live in a 2 story home and can hear the fans running upstairs. I am currently trying to return the unit.

The microwave and the oven together make my kitchen look stylish. Great appliances for a gourmet kitchen. Compact and occupy least space. Excellent features that make baking and cooking fun and easy!
