Love the way this fridge looks in my kitchen. It has all the room I need but fits nicely in the available space. About the only downside is some noise. When the ice drops, you know it, and when you put new groceries in the fridge the ramp up in cooling produces noticeable sound. Not a big deal, which is why it got 4 stars vs. 5.

The fridge is fine. I am sure it's great with efficiency. I ordered this online without seeing "black ice" with only understanding it "looks like a smartphone". It only took me about a month to get one delivered and then it had the wrong handles and didn't look like a smartphone case. Another month and I finally got a replacement, same black with correct handles. I had pictured it to be this cool black surface with a gloss thick clear coat, like a glass pane on it to match my double oven doors. It's not. It's a somewhat mid gloss that isn't highly reflective and does not offer any depth in the paint. Overrated to call it a new color if you ask me. The handles are nice Stainless but not really worth the added price over the similar unit in the lineup. On top of that, I am not impressed that the display panel does not offer an option to keep the display on... or the noise the icemaker makes... or the mess it makes with ice cubes if you don't get your glass right up to the dispenser. I would keep looking.

If there was a zero star option, I would give it that. I never knew a fridge could suck so bad until I purchases this appliance. We bought one in Oct 2013, had problem after problem and it had an issue that could not be repaired. After about 24 hours of phone time arguing with whirlpool about the issues and warranty, we were given a second one of this piece of garbage model. It's loud, it makes so many strange noises,it doesn't seal properly, any time we have company we run out of ice fast, freezes foods in back of fridge, issue after issue with 2 of the same models, we are fridge shopping again due to Another issue that appliance repair man cannot fix. I will never, EVER purchase another Whirlpool product in my life.

Replaced an older model. My dark kitchen is brighter. I am happy with my Whirlpool.

Love the way the space is used

I bought this fridge 2 months ago for my new home and have found it good. I bought it mainly because it was part of the white ice line. One aspect of the fridge I don't like is the size. The fridge itself is big but the space inside is not. I'm not sure if the non-french door type fridge would have more space inside or not.Also I have not hooked up the water or icemaker yet due to the position of the fridge.

Loving our new fridge! It works great and is holding up well to the slammed doors and other abuse from a busy family with young children. Easy to program and I especially love the lock feature to keep the 2 year old from messing with the in-door ice and water.

I bought this two months ago and am very happy, with my new refrigerator.We are a family of four & its plenty big enough for us.Plus we like all the features it has that we didnt even know when we bought it. Thanks Whirlpool Would recommend it to anyone.

We bought this refrigerator because ours was dying and we wanted way more space. It works great! I love the spaciousness of this fridge. I love the three drawers in the refrigerator side plus the ice maker on the door versus inside is so nice. I never run out of room!My only complaint is the noise. When the ice maker is refilling it can be really loud.

I bought this refrigerator for our company lunchroom. It is the perfect size and looks great. I have had good luck with other Whilrpool products and have great expectations for this purchase.

I love my new Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator! I had one before I moved, but I left it in my former home. The fridge in my new place was a freezer-on-top, and I didn't like it nearly as well. Now I have ice and cold water, and I don't have to bend over to get my drinks. It is also beautiful. I know it's not the newest thing in refrigerators (it had been a display unit), but it is just what I wanted.

Looked at every brand on the market, hands down Whirlpool simply has the best designs. The space savings feature of icemaker in the door is simply brilliant. Along with the quick ice feature there's plenty of ice for everyone, and guess what? Because the icemaker isn't taking up all that room in your freezer when we had a party this past weekend and needed to buy the extra large bag of ice for the party, there was room in the freezer for it. No need to drag up a cooler from the basement. Yea!

Our fridge died on us after a power outage and we were strapped for a new one. Plus, we were newly engaged and wanted to get a NEW fridge and not a craigslist find. We wanted one that was affordable, looked great, had a trusted brand and lots of space. An ice machine/water filter we knew would be a luxury and also knew that we would most likely have to make sacrifices for our budget. With this fridge we did not have to make any sacrifices at all! There is tons of space, a great look and we love the extra digital features (such as the alert that lets you know your fridge or freezer door has been open after a certain amount of time. We are very pleased with not only the product and the level of service we have received thus far. We are in the market for a new microwave next and plan on shopping for a Whirlpool!

This product was a little disappointing. I was replacing from a 23.5 Cu. Ft fridge and I feel like I have less room. The shelves in the doors hold less, due to the excessive amount of plastic used on each shelf. The inside shelves a much shorter than my old fridge as well. I do like the ice maker and water dispenser. Overall nice fridge just disappointed in space design.

I didn't think I would like a side-by-side fridge but this one is wide enough that I don't feel I have made any compromises and I get all the benefits of having everything I use often within reach whether it is in the freezer or the fridge.

So far I love my fridge. The handles is what makes this fridge different from just another white fridge. The door- in -ice is also great. Two draw backs, it's sort of loud and the water comes out room temp(not cold). Tired to make the temp of the fridge colder, but water is still room temp.

Bought the White Ice model and definitely not disappointed. Very spacious on the inside and very sleek on the outside...

I bought my product 3 weeks ago and it has been fabulous. Lots of room, indoor ice/water maker leaves so much room in the freezer and it cooled down quickly and made ice quickly. Great addition.

I like the refrigerator but it is a little noisy when running and making ice.

We bought this two weeks ago to replace a failing Frigidaire. Best move in a long time. The new Whirlpool is much quieter, better lit inside and seems so much better in construction.

This refrigerator looks great, very clean looking. It has a good amount of storage and space.My only knock is that it does take a long time for a new bin of ice to accumulate, even with the fast ice option. The ice dispenser is also unusually loud. This would not discourage me from purchasing this unit.

Being a Whirlpool purchaser for many years, the new dishwasher-purchased last year- and recent purchase of my 26 cu ft, side by side refrigerator has again proven my faith in Whirlpool products. I love it.Besides being attractive to view with it's bright white color and metal hardware, it does everything I wished for.The in the door ice maker is always providing fresh, just the right sized cubes. I enjoy the sound of the fresh dropping ice as it shares that it's ready to give to the party's needs.I did add one extra shelf for my personal requirement. However, it does come with the number of shelves to meet most needs.I highly recommend my purchase.Next I am going to add a new whirlpool electric stove as the kitchen is being converted to an all Whirlpool place of confidence and beauty.Dennyin Floridaoriginally from cold and snowy Michigan

We have been using this fridge for a few months now and love it. The size is very good with enough features to get the job done. The only thing it's missing is a covered dairy shelf on fridge side. The Black Ice look is great!

Bought it to December and have enjoyed it. Would recommend whirlpool appliances to,others.
