Fridge works very well, and has already begun to save $ on my electric bill. A freezer light would be an excellent addition. I was slightly disappointed in the build quality, as the Fridge and Freezer door handles do not align as well as they could. Overall, I am very satisfied thus far.

Love all whirlpool appliances. However the new refrigerators need to have a button on the doors(where there is a special hole to change doors from right to left or visa versa) Now they come with a round sticker.Whirpool design team, this needs to change, otherwise, a great refrigerator!!JEHanson

Refrig performs fantastic - the shelving and interior room for food is what fits my small kitchen. It runs very quiet.

I especially like the large and convenient spacousness in both the refrigerator and freezer. It is easy to store all sorts of food which is clearly visible and easy to reach. Both the inside and outside of the unit is very easy to clean. The refrigerator runs quietly and saves energy making it's performance terrific. It is an excellent basic refrigerator that is good looking, spacious, and quiet!

Our electric meter has been broken so I can't speak of any electric cost savings this energy star appliance. Impressed with how quietly it runs! Was looking for a model with a larger freezer space and this one has lots of space.

I buy orange juice and milk by the gallon, cranberry juice by the 1/2 gallon as Doctor Oz says that cranberry juice is good for you and 2 litter bottles of Pepsi.The only place I can put them standing upright, or they may leak laying down, is on the top shelf. Of course I need to put other things on the top shelf also. The refrigerator light gets in the way when trying to move gallons around to take things in or out of the refrigerator from the top shelf. Of course I have to move things around to take something from 1 of the other shelves but I can do that without having to hold or put a gallon or 1/2 gallon on the floor to get what I want. I'm not an electrician and will never know how much electrical energy I give it an OK rating.

Whisper quiet and modern appearance. Super effecient. I'm very pleased.

This refrigerator is the quietest one I've ever owned. I love the deli tray especially, because it is wide and thin which allows for an abundance of deli oriented foods which can be out of the way and organized easily.The door has much room for tall containers of juice and milk and plenty of space for small jars which need to be organized so they can be found and retrieved qickly and easily.My favorite feature is it's quietness and its' energy efficiency.

Freezer door storage is too narrow, virtually unuseable. Bottom stoage on door is hard to get too, because of wider middle shelves. Also very narrow, bottle of ketchup doesn't fit. The light is in the center top of the frig which dips down an inch or two, hard to arrange tall items.

I love the room in the freezer and the refrigerator and how it is arranged. I also love the removable shelves that can be rearranged inside the door. Lots of room for products such as a gallon of milk. I also love the clear shelving inside the refrigerator.

no light in freezer,spacing on glass is impeded by temp control,split shelfs would have been nice.all in all it works well,priced right and I do like.

I had larger and easier storage facilities in our Amana 17 cu ft refrigerator. The selves were at least adjustable.The door handles on this unit are squared off and are sharp when you make contact with them. My wife constantly hits her head when trying to retrieve food or store food for future use. The exterior surface is shiny and shows every finger print. The refrigerator sticks out six inches further into the kitchen area. The reason we purchased this unit was the refrigerator size fit the hole we have in our cabinets and be did not like black or stainless steel. Evidently white is back in.

Fit perfectly into my tiny kitchen when it was totally gutted and updated but surprisingly there is so much food storage space inside. Many stainless fridges have black sides -- this one has gray sides and works so much better when in a space where part of the sides show. The design is sleek and great looking. Inside clear glass shelves and drawers offer numerous configuration options and make it look crystal clean. It's nearly silent when operating. I'm totally pleased with it and I tend to be picky. I'd recommend this fridge to my friends without hesitation. I was going to buy another brand for $300 less and am very glad I didn't go that route but went with a name like Whirlpool.

I purchased this refrigerator from a local dealer, to replace an old Whirlpool refrigerator, & am very pleased with it. I especially like the larger, flatter meat drawer and the large freezer. I am not as fond of the different size crispers, as I would prefer two of the same size. This has not been a major problem, though. The door shelves are also very conveniently arranged. At first, I wasn't pleased with the single control for the freezer & refrigerator, as I had to turn it down much further than the recommended settings to get the freezer within the safe area. But, after a few weeks, I have been able to move the setting to the recommended setting, and both sections are kept at the perfect temperature.

This refrigerator is good, I like it. It doesn't take long to cool your stuff and saves energy.

This refrigerator is a "kid-friendly" type that they can access and close easily! The shelving layout takes the guesswork out of what is located where and easy to slide drawers are very functional. Runs quiet and the ice-maker is a plus.

The old side-by-side that was left by the previous home owner quit unexpectedly and I wanted to get a top-freezer model so I could keep large items in the freezer. Unfortunately, there were very few Whirlpool models of any kind available in my area for immediate delivery, so I chose this model. I like the in-door storage for milk and soda cans, and love having a large, lighted freezer, but I'm disappointed in the arrangement of the shelves in the refrigerator. I had to remove the middle shelf in order to store 2-liter bottles upright on the bottom shelf, and had to lower the top shelf to make room for my water pitcher. Instead of having 3 shelves, I now have 2. Also, I have to bend down in order to see and pull items off the top shelf. (I'm 6'2" tall.)The freezer and refrigerator work well to keep food cold, but it is louder than the previous one. I can hear it turn on and off from my bedroom at the opposite end of the house. (1650 sq. ft. ranch.)I like the outside style except for one thing. The handles have sharp edges. Even a slight rounding would've been better.Mine does not have the built-in ice maker, so I can't comment on that.
