By changing our fixture with these clear ribbed bell shades updated our light fixture at a fraction of the cost of replacing the whole fixture!

I purchased twenty of these to replace the frosted "shades" on my ceiling fans. The original glass shades were in good shape, but provided less space for my fat fingers when bulb replacement became necessary. Complicating the process, the sockets are made in China, which means that bulbs don't readily unscrew. They are often difficult to remove without breaking them, even when there is plenty of room. The new 4.5 in. Clear Ribbed Bell not only provides more space between bulb and shade to ease the extraction of spent light bulbs, but the fact that the glass is clear and not frosted means that more illumination reaches the room, providing a brighter, more cheerful ambience. The whole room looks better.

I hate frosted glass! This glass shade gives true unfiltered lighting. It looks well with any kind of décor. It was easy to install and looks great in my bathroom.
