Bought this grill about five years ago and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. It’s worth every penny. I love the smoker and rotisserie but the best feature is that even without the sear station it easily gets hotter than a double layer charcoal fire for perfect steaks. Other gas grills do not compare, and do not begin to get hot enough. But this one does!

By far the best grill I have ever used. I replaced a very old Genesis that I had rebuilt multiple times. The smoker addition is well worth the cost. The grill holds a very steady 225° for overnight unattended cooking and generates a lot of smoke. Very heavy grates are good for searing as well. The rotisserie also works well and has expanded my grilling options. Would definitely recommend this product.

Bought this knowing or thought I knew that weber still had high quality in their products, but the fire box is rusting and all the bolts are rusted. Kinda disappointed for the money. I have a q200 and no issues at all.

I researched upgraded BBQ grills for a year, from built ins to Carted. I finally went with this grill for its great ratings with Consumer reports, and actually seeing one in person. For the price range I was saving for between 1800 and 3200 hundred dollars, Lion, Napolean, Bull, all were top notch grills. But for the pricing on the WEBER Summit, options, quality, and the great heat up response, for me the differences were so close, I went with Weber.

I have had this grill for over 7 years and it works perfect. I use it at least 3 times a week. It's a working horse.

I have the summit and love the grill but don’t like that no matter how hard I try rust seems to be developing on the doors and trays. I moved and lost my top grill grate and can’t Seem to find a replacement. My button for the lighted handles also stopped working.

I did the annual gill cleaning this weekend. The gill is kept covered by a Weber cover and stored under an enclosed porch. I have rust on the both side trays( stainless) and all four handles and has the chrome bubbling. I am very disappointed in these two areas. As for the other construction, I am satisfied and it grills very well. I would have expected better quality parts by having the Weber name and the Weber price over it's competitors. The features that this grill has is wonderful and I do like it. It would have received a 5 star if not for these two problems.

I have had my grill for 2.5 years, grilling 5+ times weekly. This grill is pricey but for the extreme griller, its worth it. It is packed with features that all work well. I cant say enough good things about my grill and have turned many friends into Weber customers. Keep up the great grills and keep them built in America!

I bought this 6 years ago and it is kept covered and out of the weather. Have used it at least once a month in the winter and continuously in the spring and summer. This year all of the handles are rotting from behind the chrome and the hinges and sheet metal parts are crumbling. The Stainless is holding up well but not the metal and pewter parts. 10 year warranty but this is considered wear and tear. Which I understand. Friends and family have purchased the same with no problems, just my luck I suppose.

The quality of components used to manufacture this grill seems to be very high. Really like the contrasting black enamel and stainless steel. Have been able to use the grill a few times now and am very impressed with the heat it can reach. The searing station is the best thing ever. The heat is high enough to give food beautiful grill marks and you can easily bring the heat down to finish cooking. This is my first natural gas grill. Had to drag a gas line from the front of the house to the back yard but now that it's done, it's a wonderful feeling knowing I never have to run out of gas in the middle of a barbeque plus I never have to lug bottles of gas any more. Can't wait to try out the built in rotisserie. I saved up to buy this grill for over a year and have no regrets about spending the amount of money I did.

Bought this 5 years ago. Looks and works like the day I brought it home. Don't waste your money on anything else. Ya get what ya pay for. Easy grease removal.

I’m really enjoying my new grill. I cooked only twice and I’m very pleased with the results. The grill cooks evenly and it’s very easy to operate.

I have always had a Weber. The Summit series is the best. Ordered it online through Home Depot, it arrived on time, assembled at the store, and I was notified for pick up. Can’t get any easier than that. This is my second natural gas Weber, and I would not buy any other grill.

This is by far my favorite grill I have ever owned! Anything bacon wrapped (stuffed peppers, shrimp, . . .) goes on the top warming tray with the middle burners and rotisserie burners on, perfectly done, top and bottom! I originally thought I compromised, with the stainless steel grates vs. cast iron, but no, these things are heavy duty! Love it.

I am very happy with it, I had the gas line installed and now there's no more tanks! Home depot was awesome as it was delivered a head of schedule. I have to investigate the rotisserie bar, it seems the one ship with the E470 is too small for the BBQ. there's no way to connect it to the motor and be on the bbq! Otherwise it is a beautiful piece of equipment... Regards, James

I purchased the E-470 natural gas a little over a month ago and have used it every day weather has permitted ! What a pleasure to cook on. Everything about this grill is very well thought out. The grates are amazing. I season mine with a few well oiled paper towels and clean after each use. I just used the rotisserie today and was very impressed. I left my infrared rotisserie burner going the whole time and regulated the temp to control the sear on the skin on a 4.5 lb chicken. Two outer burners on low for indirect and I stayed around 400 f the whole time. Temp is very easy to control and has the power to get hot for an amazing sear on whatever you cook. Searing station will sear. I do suggest getting a pair of hi temp resistant gloves for the high temps. I recommend the Griddle Accessory that goes with and the grilling baskets and grilling tools. Recommendation for Salmon on a cedar plank. Turn on outside burners, and infrared on top. Put salmon in middle of grill at medium (400 f ) use burner on top to sear the salmon. Be careful not to catch the plank on fire. Worth every penny, wish I would have ordered sooner. I haven't tried the side burner. I turned it on and it works. looks like its well thought out to minimize wind effect. I was trying to decide on the 470 or 670 and went with the 470 (4 burners). Seeing how nice this works I have seen some advantages to getting the 670 (6 burners). If I had to do it over, knowing now what I know, I would spend the extra and get the 6 burners ! If you love to grill and grill a lot like I do, go with 6. The smoker works ok. Regulate the flame and control the smoke. This is not a dedicated smoker, the smoke billows out of the back and sides quickly and it does flavor the meat but not like a "real smoker". Fun to use and nice to have. Speaking of fun, the lights are awesome. Control knob lights are nice and really help. Handle light lights up the grilling surface adequately. The best part... The temperature gauge is spot on ! I bought a grill thermometer to place on the grates. The gauge on the grill and the one I place on the grates are spot on with each other. I was going to attach some pictures but nothing over 5 MB is accepted. Picture of grill is over 25 MB .

Built tough. Lights right up and controlling the heat is easy. I have yet to fully learn how to cook with it, but so far it has been a breeze.

Delivery was on time and easy assembly made this purchase better then I expected. Can't stop trying new grilling ideas!

Quality of grill is excellent, easy to assemble, but arrived with non-working rotisserie motor. Now have to go thru process of returning defective motor and awaiting new one. Gave it 3 star due to this reason.

I've used the smoker once and it worked great, need to use wood chunks in the future though. Used the rotisserie once also. Made some great game hens.

Soi bought the natural gas version, which after some assembly was up and running in no time at all. I love the 4 burners with a searing station in-between the center 2 which helps sear the meat without over cooking. Another great feature is the smoker burner. So you can get that rustic charcoal taste with a gas grill. The lighted knobs are an added bonus, but don't forget to turn them off or you will kill the batteries. If you enjoy grilling this one is a pleasure to use.

My first grill, had so many to choose from and places to purchase from (online & retailer) For being someone who is not a grill master, purchasing this model Weber allowed me to grow into something in the feature with features such as the Sear Station, Rottissaire, it's natural gas (hook up was easy, had a friend help out and test line) Build quality of the grill is great also Weber support is the best. My only DOWNFALL, the left door shipped banged/dented, it's OK because I contacted Weber, registered S/N and they were able to ship me out a door at NO COST.
